Turning our fresh catch into delicious artwork!

My family and I were out fishing and took our fresh catch to the restaurant where they prepared our squid and queenfish for 300 baht (roughly 10USD) per kilo. They served us a beautiful sashimi plate, deliciously grilled squid and fish for an extremely good price, both the cooks in the sushi bar and hot kitchen were extremely friendly and professional and capable of producing wonderful dishes. 10/10 would highly recommend.

Kind staff and great food

The staff are very kind and friendly Very nice atmosphere, decorated with lovely hand written messages from previous customers which adds a really nice touch to it. One of the staff saw my leg bleeding and he brought their first aid kit and cleaned and dressed my wound for me and most importantly the food is absolutely gorgeous. Definitely recommend this place to those in phi phi. Will definitely be coming back 😋😋😋😋

The most amazing dinner at a little place in phi phi don.

I had read about this restaurant but I saw those were old reviews, but we still wanted to go, and it was the best decision, the sushi was AMAZING, everything was so fresh ! And the flavor just blew our minds away. If you come here and you want some Japanese food you HAVE TO COME You won’t regret

Good price, great food!

I chose to eat here as a result of the reviews I’d read on here and they were not joking. By far the best food I’ve eaten since I began travelling. Great value for money with some of the most tasty food I’ve ever eaten with very quick service. A must try if you’re on the Phi Phi islands!

Really good sushi. We stayed for dinner and the restaurant is very quaint, the staff is very friendly and kind. Great value for money, the tuna is really fine caught directly from them. Highly Recommendation for those on holiday at phi phi.

Amazing sushi. Fish is fresh, well prepared, and the sushi rice is just the right mix and texture. I actually cried the first time I came here; I'd never had sushi so good outside Japan . Its a little difficult to find, but worth the journey. Enjoy.

Incredible sushi on Krabi

Wonderful sushi on the island! We had been craving fresh sashimi and this hit the spot. The owner even gave us complimentary seaweed salad and checked on us numerous times to make sure we were having a wonderful meal.

Surprising, superb quality Japanese food a long way from home

Wonderful, fresh food - especially the sashimi, with a clean environment and friendly staff. Song playlist was also on point for the festive season. Very child- friendly environment as well. To top it all off kids were given a free sushi pen. Overall, awesome Japanese experience.

It is a great place to eat, there's aircon and the food is so so good! After being in Phuket and around the island we can say this one has good prices and a very wide menu. We've come 2 times in 2 days and everything we have tried is delicious!

The food is very good, super fresh sushi, super pleasant atmosphere and super attentive staff. The day I went, the restaurant owner was there and asked us if the food was good because she had problems importing the fish, she showed enormous care. The experience is sensational.

Great sushi

My friend and I got an assortment of maki rolls and all 5 plates were 10/10! They have fisherman which catches the yellow fin tuna locally. Obviously towards the pricier end but you pay for the quality. Lovely staff. Would definitely recommend

Friendly and helpful friendly staff, sushi as good as I had never eaten before, in a story of pleasure, every dish had something to tell. Definitely more expensive than the restaurants in the area, but it is a unique experience to do, for those who love sushi and fresh fish. Only note, attention that inside is very cold, so better dress well or alternatively allow you to eat outside on the counter. Between the two I recommend getting dressed, it's worth it. The very kind chef, you can see and feel that he puts all his passion in the restaurant.

Awesome place great food, very nice staff and owner, and food was very very good. Have to try place on the lil island. Service was very quick and food (the sushi) took about 10 minutes at worse. Still can't believe the prices are so low but me and my friends are from California everything in California...ugh

Very disappointing, blend sushi meal.

Our experience was very average or slightly below. We had sushi for a change with Thai food after a week of holiday and this was a great disappointment. The sushi rice was improperly prepared with loads of starch left around the rice (paste) , a pronounced sugary taste and barely any acidic taste at all. It tasted rather like a pudding or sweet sticky rice, clearly not sushi rice. The fish I had was cut very randomly ( donburi) while the sashimi were pretty much tasteless pieces of frozen fish, which I guess you should have expected. We appreciate sushi very much but this was a big let down. Of course we won’t return, but this would apply too if we were living locally.
