We visited for lunch and had an excellent meal. We shared steamed rice, shrimp with pumpkin flowers, and fried seafood spring rolls. Everything was delicious. It was quite busy but we were able to get a table by the sea and the young lady who waited on us did a great job of getting everything to us. The wind was... More

I read previous reviews and was hesitant. But we wanted fish and the view was the dealmaker. We had a third of a kilo of fresh prawns BBQ salt n garlic. Cauliflower. And pineapple rice. For the two of us and it was enough. It was delicious. The staff were attentive. Helped by uncle over from California. But plates were... More

Cay Bang is lies northwest of Front Beach, but is easily reached by taxi. The place by the sea is huge, but when we visited it was almost empty. Staff does not speak English, the menu is translated, though. We had cuttlefish with chili, mussels Thai style, shrimps and a fried fish nobody knows the name of. Everything served in... More

This place seems to have become quieter due to the economy in Vn but they still serve up decent food at reasonable prices. I like this place because it far more relaxed than the large favorite in town (GH) and we always seem to get a seat against the wall next to the water. It's a great lunch venue as... More

It was not a bad restaurant at all. Recommended to us by an acquaintance. Food was nice but quite pricey for those travelling on a budget. The view is undeniably beautiful. And Bai Dau is right there so you can always walk down to dip your foot in the water. On the whole, it was not too bad but could... More

The area for the restaurant is OK, but as someone who has lived in Vietnam, speaks Vietnamese, and been all over this place is expensive with average quality bordering on low quality. They don't even make real coffee here they use instant powder,

location was right on the water, and thus view was great. But food was just ok, given the prices, we expected better. For example, beer was a little cold, and must use ice or wait at least 10 minutes so they could put beer in ice bucket...hmm go for the view, but that would be it.

My husband was in charge of the port of Vung Tau during the Vietnam war and this was his first trip back. He'd read about this restaurant and we decided to go there for lunch. It wasn't crowded. The view was gorgeous, you're literally sitting right over the water and there is a lovely small beach right next to it.... More

Nice view, but there was no one there.... Kinda eerie and silent. Food overpriced and not great. But nice location for sunset

Restaurant staff was helpful and food is ok for us. We felt this restaurant is good enough for family dining when they need a place reasonable and a bit romantic.
