I learned from my friends and newspaper reports that it is the most popular coffee shop in Pekanbaru. You could have politicians and commoners here. Various ethnic and religious leaders also sit in Kim Teng. It is simply the must visit coffee shop.

A good place to have the taste of good coffee plus to savour a number of dishes to soothe your appetite. It is always very crowded but the service is excellent and you are being attended immediately. It is really a hassle to find a parking space but it was worth it.

Good local coffee and fresh bread. Place to chill and hangout with friends or just to get a quick bite in between meals. Service is great

Plus: So many choice of foods : From porridge, noodles, dim-sum, rice, etc. Minus: Located at the crowded area, difficult to get parking, the taste is okay but nothing special. Must try: Traditional Coffee and half-boiled egg in Chicken porridge

Drink the coffee latte-coffe with condensed milk. Ask to have less milk if you dont like it sweet. The place is crowded with locals. Main menu is toast bread with srikaya spread (coconutmilk-palmsugar-egg) very good savory but sweet. I am an occasional drinker of coffee-only new and famous local places. The coffee is from local harvest it is strong and... More

Tavern is very crowded, especially coffee lovers. In addition to coffee, is also available a variety of other foods such as pastries, noodles and more. If you visit there should be in the first book, especially if morning. If we do not have to queue to get a place. I really like to visit there.

Kedai kopi is a traditional coffeshop. It's also known as kopitiam. There are so many kedai kopi in Pekanbaru. Kim Teng is one of them. But Kim Teng has it's uniqueness that made its different. It's cleaner and the taste is awesome. Kim Teng has several outlet located in different mal in Pekanbaru. But the price is considerably high.
