Charming old bungalow housing a restaurant bar. Service was affable. Music was great as they played retro hits. Setting gorgeous. We were 2 pax. Me and my 14 year old. About half the menu was not available. Not a big deal coz of the pandemic....The food was very average. My boy had a fried rice and it mainly tasted of soy sauce and not much else. I had the lamb shoulder which was also average. But chef was very obliging in customising a salad for us. This was very refreshing! So thank you for that. For me, experience it once for the ambience but not the food.More

The service was friendly and unobtrusive. The food was decent and very good value. Don't come expecting molecular gastronomy but it's what is pub food. Seriously though you'd come for the sunsets. Be there around 630pm. Enjoy a drink and marvel at God's creation and...thank the stars you're alive.More

This place is literally one of the only place decent enough to have evening drinks. The atmosphere is breezy as it resides right on the beach. The food is overrated and subpar with croackroaches lurking around and a number of patrons have made noise about...this which to my amazement a staff replies back that it comes from the beach and is normal. I've been to many beach restaurants and I've never encountered such. Drinks for sure but food not suggested!More

Came here last Friday ( 21 Aug 2020) night but no one serve us as they are very busy. I walked over to the waiter for 3 times and then only bring the menu to us. However, they cook the food is fast and nice....Tried Chicken Chop (RM24) and Fish&Chips (RM26), Watermelon juice (RM13), Beer bottle (RM17). Abit Pricy but the food is nice.More

Had dinner and drinks at La Playa on the beach none the less. Nice place with a good vibe. Bar has both inside and outside seating. Staff was very attentive and quick. Had the fish and chips (ok), the hot wings (good), and the margarita...pizza (good). Wife had a sex on the beach and me a bottle of Guinness. All in all, a good place.More

We were staying at a nearby resort, decided to have dinner here in the evening. Located right on the beach, great venue to dine in the evenings with the sea breeze and views. We had grilled chicken, two lamb dishes and a pasta, all food...dishes was delicious. Services at entrance and during dining was great too. Overall we had a good time. Definitely will dine here again if we are visiting Port Dickson.More

Arrogance was in the face.. A man in his 30s claimed to be the owner, Was very rude to my female friends, disrespectful and changed his voice tone after male friends arrived. We requested due to a certain travel circumstances we had to bring a...little dog along(shihtzu) and it was a hot day we didn't want to leave it in the car.. Thus requested to keep by the side with utmost descrete but he said rule n all with full rude face and told us if u want take the far end table & take the back path.. That he don't want his malay(Muslim) staffs to see the dog. We told... If u are that concern.. You should not even have Muslim staff it's a bar plus they don't need to touch it and we were gonna sit outdoors; he just kept quiet. And he could have said it in a nicer polite and respectful way but he didn't.. He was almost to the face of my frnds n was rude. This behavior is bad for business and furthermore.. We are locals. Wonder how he treats foreign tourists.More

I like to travel to the beach and nearest for me is PD. But it has become a boring place with no proper nightclubs, bars or just a chill out place. My friend suggested this place and now have been going there on my trips...to PD. Love the simple setup, with good food and beers and most of all my favourite Blues songs on Fridays. I'll be back there again.More

Was there on Valentine's Day.. we arrived early as we did not make any reservation. Was told they were 'fully booked', but somehow could give us a table. We were there till 9 pm and found a couple of the tables were totally unassigned. Yet...they were turning people away - people who were extremely disappointed. Well at least we got a table, even if it was near the washroom! Food was a little disappointing compared to our last visit.. maybe it's a wrong day. Overall the ambience and live music made up for everything else.More
