Tioman Cabana ( The Cabana Village) run of small bed & breakfast facilities, Acoomodation and Beach Bistro served great food, Dive School and Watersport Center.Our menu in our Bistro has a variation of choice from local or western appetizer,If talking about Home Made Burger everybody knows of course in beverage option we served fresh tropical juices and Fresh Coffee.In day time we provided different type of activities from boating, tour and landsport activities. To be here same feel you are the islanders with great music, awesome view of sunset, located on the beach and nice islanders design of woods house.You also welcome to do book exchange, bring your musical instrument to jam with the crew or use our free wifi on the hammock.

Great diving with Cabana Tioman

Searching for a dive center on Tioman for my son and myself, I found this hidden hangout place. We have done all together 4 dives with Man. For my son it were the first dives after having completed his Open Water last year. And with the very experienced dive guide, it was a great very relaxed event. I would definitively return for more diving!! Great location and ambience. We also had dinner and lunch at the restaurant. The design of the restaurant is meant for relaxing. Food taste good. Extremely friendly staff!!

Excellent restaurant to visit!

What’s not to like! Excellent food, particularly loved the huge prawn dishes (couldn’t find these elsewhere on the island). Place your order at the counter, they give you a buzzer which will let you know when to collect. No beers sold at the restaurant, but they are happy for you to pop two minutes away to the store to buy your own and consume there. Live music happens on some nights which is very good and varied.

This laid back hipster restaurant

I’m going to start this with the negative if you have mobility issues you won’t be able to eat and chill out here! The stairs are steep and a lot of them! On that note lunch is from 12 to 3 and supper is from six or seven man ate there enough should remember! The food is consistent and tasty try a coffee or coconut shake and anything on the menu is good. Don’t feel rush here chill out and at 3 you can stay just don’t expect to buy anything! The guys love to jam and music seems to be always happening. Have fun and don’t expect to be served get up and order. Oh the guys will remember your name if you come back! Great view of the Ocean!

Tasty food and great night there

Had some fried squids, was very tasty and really fresh seafood ! The orange juice was great there too Finished with a banana pancake, was very good too but a bit small tho ! (Guess I was very hungry at that time !) Some people came singing and playing guitar on that night and the ambiance was really great Would recommend ++ pretty sure I'm going to go back another time this week !

Chilled out spot, live music.

Visited here a number of times during our stay on Tioman. Lively spot , popular and busy. Lovely spot to chill out. Staff are friendly. There is live music most nights. You can bring your own beer. Had food one night it was good . Enjoyed coming here to listen to the music. Would recommend.

Disappointing speed of service

I'll break down my experience with this place Food - great Place - great (not sure for non smokers) Staff - nice Prices - affordable Speed of service - terrible We stayed in Tekek, Tioman for 3 nights and we loved the place. We explored all the possible places where to eat and we ended eating to this place and we liked it. On the second visit, we just drop by to have drinks. On the third visit, that June 15, after a long walk, we decided to have lunch in Cabana that's around 1:30pm - 2pm and we're hungry. After ordering we waited for our food for almost 40 minutes, and I even approach the guy at the counter and asked him if our food is ready because its been a long time, he just replied OK OK OK. And in addition to that, we came before a couple and a lady but they got their food first. (I'm observing what's going on that day because everything seems not right) considering there are only around around 11-12 persons on that day. In addition to that, I'm not sure if the place is a smoking place or not because four guys are smoking as if they don't care. If we knew before hand we could go somewhere else. So my recommendation, check first the place if is bit crowded especially lunch and dinner and for sure it will take time before you can have your food especially if your hungry unless you're willing to wait.

Nice place with great view to the beach, lovely design and decoration, the manager was friendly but the other staff weren't, it took so long to get our order and there were a tons of mosquitoes..

The DREAM

Stayed 3 nights in April 2019 and had a BLAST. Tioman Cabana is such a wonderful, characteristic, lovely place with great vibe and lots of cuuuute cats roaming around, live music and extra focus on environment and sustainability. All on a beautiful post-card picture perfect island. What more does one want?! Staff is so lovely and helpful. Little things like remembering your name and how you like your eggs in the morning - really made you welcome and special. Bistro has yummy food (personal faves were seafood fried rice and sotong masak lemak), fresh juices, milkshakes etc. And the most gorgeous view. If you're not staying in the B&B I would totally recommend Cabana just for their food. Absolutely no single use plastic here, glasses and metal straws, re-usable cups - kudos. Special shoutout to Pek (hope I spell his name right!) - he is your guy if you need anything. I went on two dives with the excellent diving instructors from Dive Shop at Cabana. Fred and Emir, you are super stars. Knowledgeable, funny, caring - just the best. I urrrrrrrrge everyone to dive here, it's so so so beautiful and breathtaking. The shared dorm wasn't luxurious, literally the bare necessities, wifi and AC. But you spend the day outside anyway, so not a problem. One thing to note though: no individual lockers, but you may leave your valuables at the reception. Free to borrow snorkels, flippers, kayaks. Next to the Cabana is Rumah Hijau project which is all about sustainability, recycling, waste management etc. Water refill point, recycling point, glass jars for ashtrays to take with you to the beach, artwork from recycled materials, DIY projects... Not only a chilled holiday destination, but a place with a vision and green values. Top tips: bring bug spray, bring your refillable water bottle and buy your tax-free beer from the super market down the road.

Well hidden gem of tioman

Discovered this hidden hangout place from an English dive instructor. Took some effort and googling to locate. Awesome location and ambience. The design of the restaurant is meant for relaxing. Food taste good. Extremely friendly staffs.
