They behave as you owe them something, 50%of food from menu is not available-no fish, no banana, no ice cream.. we asked for...coconut knife to cut the coconut and they said 5 myr...come on dont be so greedy... my last time thereMore

When here for lunch. We walked around 20 mins from our accommodation and found this restaurant. Interior looks nice and chill. Nice view by the Jetty. But to me the food is below par for the price. We ordered chicken tomyam and butter squid. Both...tasted differently that it should especially the tomyam, its tasted nothing like tomyam tho. Perhaps, their fried rice or fried noodles is better i think.More

Juara is probably (one of) the calmest beach in Tioman, where you get the proper paradise Island feeling. If you want to get this feeling while keeping control over your wallet, Santai Bistro resort is the place to be. The room is spacious but basic,...with a curtain through which you can see, a bathroom that is the shower and becomes wet when you take one, and thin walls. However, at Tiomanx more than anywhere else, you just have to limit your time inside the room to sleeping and showering only. The bistro at the hotel serves good food, provides beautiful snorkling trips, rents out scooters, and all this with a smile. They will pick you up and drop you of at the ferry for free, and you can ask for transport to Tekek for whichever other reason, thought that will cost you 50 ringit. (So take enough cash to avoid a costly trip to the only ATM on the island). Last but not least, Santai bistro resort is beautifully located on the beachside. We definitely enjoyed our stay here.More

Santai Bistro is probably the best place for dinner in Juara, as there are not many other choices. It is located overlooking the beach, in the middle section of Juara bay. The menu consists of local and western food. The taste of the food was...OK, but not spectacular. The price was a bit more than the other warungs in Juara. Service was OK. The food arrived quite quickly considering there were a lot of customers.More

Visited Tioman island for New Year 2016 and stayed in this place for 5 nights. The grouper suite sea view was beautiful but so much mosquito. The place quite quiet. The restaurant was ok nothing special. Actually, it was not a good idea to go to...this island on December as weather was so bad and everything was closed. No any activities allowed, snorkelling, boat trip....as it was Moonsoon season. Overall the trip was nice.More

The hotel drops you back to the ferry station but does not pick you up. You have to figure that out yourself. Even if you have booked in advance. The food was decent. Lots of Cat's in the restaurant kept bothering us. Laid back place...and the staff are also laid back. Accomodating staff. They dont accept debit or credit cards. Guess the system does not work cause the Internet sucks. The location is far from all the snorkeling or diving locations. So your cost to rent a boat goes higher. Was a great trip, all in all was a good experience.More
