We have visited here many times over the years we lived in Malaysia and always departed reluctantly. The food is fresh, well-prepared and service is fast and courteous. This is a place where you can comfortably relax and enjoy the view and swim - and...when you get hungry - eat and drink at very reasonable prices. (NOTE if you expect 5 star gourmet meals on Pangkor you should instead visit some of the islands on the east coast. If you like expertly prepared fresh seafood and a variety of local and western recipes you're in the right place.) This was our fourth visit to this eatery. the last time being 2017. Probably the best food on the island. Situated right on the Coral beach. Sadly, this time the hospitality and friendliness were not there, which we always got on many previous occasions. The...other downside is, the Restaurant closes at 9 pm sharp. for us this was too early. But for a relaxing day by the beach it was perfect. Next door Daddy's cafe is a better option for late Diners.More

During our stay in Pangkor we ate 3 times at the restaurant. On the day before departure we ordered the Malay Menu for 2 persons and it was exquisite!

Not sure what is the hype but the food is okay eatable not so tasty as what I read in the reviews it’s just by the sea. Sea view

We both had the veggie curry with rice & it was lovely. I asked to have some chicken in mine as well, which they were happy to do as well. When they arrived they both looked and tasted slightly different, one being quite oily but...because they were big portions we both shared the sauce from the nicer one anyway. The service was great and people very friendly. We paid around 70 myr for our mains, fries and a fruit juice/shake each. Would recommend to anyone, and to go for sunset as wellMore

Absolutely amazing! The place is beautiful and staff are super friendly( specially the uncle chef ) and the food is delicious. I recommend to try chiken chop , its super yummy 🤩👌🏻.

This place is definitely very much worth visiting, for these reasons 1. Hygiene 2. Sceneries, 3. Quality of food 4. Friendliness of staffs and owner. We spent half of our one week holiday (3 days) eating both lunch and dinner here. Simply because it hits...the mark for everything we are looking for and it’s just difficult for others to compare. The biggest reason for us to come back here was also because we enjoyed interacting with the owner, who is passionate about everything that’s happening in the restaurant. He himself is always present in the restaurant and by the second day we were there, he was already recommending food off the menu, specially catered for our likings. The one I specifically want to mention is the 2kg lamb rack, which was his secret stash hiding in the fridge for guests that have special request. He ended up doing some amazing sauce (wine reduction over a few hours), gave us 2 small bottle of red wine on the house, and some grilled veggies to couple with the amazing and juicy lambs (pre-grilled before serving to us, and we can continue to bbq according to our liking). Enough said, the picture should says it all for any travellers to Pangkor that would like to have a very personalised treatment from a restaurant owner.More
