Toasts we ordered were very good and eggs were half-done just as we asked. You can choose a breakfast set with a drink included for a really fair price. The meals were done really quickly, which was perfect, because we had little time. The staff is friendly and helpful.

What a gem - fantastic cuisine with friendly service . A flash back to the 1970s was what drew us in plus the sight of the biscuit tins from a bygone era . We ordered the salted egg French toast, traditional laksa, Nasi dagang and the briyani chicken. The servings were substantial but oh so flavoursome. The laksa gravy was really well done - if only I could take it back to Melbourne with me . Sadly we leave tomorrow otherwise I would be back again . The salted egg French toast was also yummy - not too rich.

We were there for tea. The egg tarts were sold out, but we tried the salted egg croissant and the mango cream puffs which were good. We would be definitely coming back for a proper meal when we are in town again. The service was good, but the food took a while to come.

the deco is nice and classic.
only 1 food on the menu that can be considered as good.
the rest of the food in the menu sound good on paper but the presentation and the taste were not acceptable.
even the coffee tasted bland
and the price match what was on paper. but does not reflect the actual product.

Nice clean cafe, nice break from street vendors but serves mostly Malay dishes still. They did have salted egg French toast which was nice however they do not accept card payments only cash. It looks like they accept card but you have to scan a barcode and unless you have the Malay bank app you can’t process payment so cash is the only option here then.

Highly recommended for the food, the ambience, the store setting and the overall feel.
Their menu has some food choices which are really good. We ordered Sambal Konlou Mee with Chicken Chop, Nasi Lemak with Slipper Lobster, Mee Siam & Nasi Kerabu with Chicken.
We also had the famous UFO Tart which is very good. Very mild sweet and is really good.

Portuguese tart pretty good. Laksa good. Smoked duck with hoisin & floss is a sandwich in white bread. Also tasty. Expect to wait ages to receive your food!

Apart from the excellent food, this is one of the few places that serve water in glass bottles and use metal straws. Modern/oriental design and free Wifi. The staff speaks very well English, service is good.

Very nice restaurant, they have delicious coffee and a really chilled environment. The breakfast we had was very tasty (salted egg French toast and the honey soy chicken toast), and the desserts are delicious! Would definitely recommend going here. The staff is very friendly and helpful!

Lovely comfortable place to escape the heat. I visited this spot twice, once for a cake and coffee, the next time for lunch.
The service was great, very accommodating and helpful.
The coffee was quite good, they have creamy and sweet options as well as a standard iced black coffee. Both were good!
As a vegetarian I was pleasantly surprised to see a vegetarian nasi lemak on the menu which was delicious! Also had the ufo pastry which is a local treat here, and loved it (a biscuit based with custard inside, topped with meringue).

Great place to stop for a meal or treat. Everything we tried was delicious, including iced drinks, laksa, rendang & salted egg French toast. Topping it off with a creamy coconut cake!

There are many photo opportunities in this restaurant. There are also many tourist brochures here. The standouts are the egg tarts and the laksa. Parking can be a problem and you can't just stop in front of the restaurant as it is next to a traffic light.

Really cute resturant with a nice atmosphere. Local dishes and tons of drink and cake options. Great smoothies (especially the avocado). Vintage cafe vibe. Nice break from the street restaurants. Staff is so friendly! 🥑🥤

I came with friends during lunch time. We ordered a few signature dishes. Food was good, staff very friendly and helpful. The Interior and the decoration remind us the olden days. Classic yet nostalgic. Ambient atmosphere, suitable for family and a group of friends. Perfect place to chill and hang out. Highly recommended.
