Portuguese tart pretty good. Laksa good. Smoked duck with hoisin & floss is a sandwich in white bread. Also tasty. Expect to wait ages to receive your food!

Highly recommended for the food, the ambience, the store setting and the overall feel. Their menu has some food choices which are really good. We ordered Sambal Konlou Mee with Chicken Chop, Nasi Lemak with Slipper Lobster, Mee Siam & Nasi Kerabu with Chicken. We...also had the famous UFO Tart which is very good. Very mild sweet and is really good.More

There are many photo opportunities in this restaurant. There are also many tourist brochures here. The standouts are the egg tarts and the laksa. Parking can be a problem and you can't just stop in front of the restaurant as it is next to a...traffic light.More

A great place for those who are not really in a hurry. The food is heavenly but the service needs a lot of improvement.

Wonderful service, super friendly staff, great ambience, certainly best coffee in town, and possibly best matcha croissants in the whole South-East Asia! You can also get all the tourist information you need about Sandakan and Sepilok here.

Apart from the excellent food, this is one of the few places that serve water in glass bottles and use metal straws. Modern/oriental design and free Wifi. The staff speaks very well English, service is good.

Came for a short stop out of the afternoon sun for an iced coffee. Tried their UFO and toast. Love the decor, especially the tilled floors and walls. Comfy and clean, simple in design yet feels comfy. Would definately recomend it for those who are...looking for a place to just unwind over coffee or tea or just to get out of the sun for a while.More

I came with friends during lunch time. We ordered a few signature dishes. Food was good, staff very friendly and helpful. The Interior and the decoration remind us the olden days. Classic yet nostalgic. Ambient atmosphere, suitable for family and a group of friends. Perfect...place to chill and hang out. Highly recommended.More

We were there for tea. The egg tarts were sold out, but we tried the salted egg croissant and the mango cream puffs which were good. We would be definitely coming back for a proper meal when we are in town again. The service was...good, but the food took a while to come.More

the deco is nice and classic. only 1 food on the menu that can be considered as good. the rest of the food in the menu sound good on paper but the presentation and the taste were not acceptable. even the coffee tasted bland and...the price match what was on paper. but does not reflect the actual product.More

Toasts we ordered were very good and eggs were half-done just as we asked. You can choose a breakfast set with a drink included for a really fair price. The meals were done really quickly, which was perfect, because we had little time. The staff...is friendly and helpful.More

What a gem - fantastic cuisine with friendly service . A flash back to the 1970s was what drew us in plus the sight of the biscuit tins from a bygone era . We ordered the salted egg French toast, traditional laksa, Nasi dagang and...the briyani chicken. The servings were substantial but oh so flavoursome. The laksa gravy was really well done - if only I could take it back to Melbourne with me . Sadly we leave tomorrow otherwise I would be back again . The salted egg French toast was also yummy - not too rich.More

Found this cafe by accident during my walks in Sandakan town. Was first attracted to the ambiance and decor, especially the huge blackboard menu at the entrance. Variety of local food menu with a twist or fusion. I just had Ice-Kacang which was wonderful to...have on a hot afternoon. Highly recommended!More
