Unfortunately things didn’t go well on our visit. We ordered 4 pizza’s. 2 arrived within 10 minutes. We asked if the other two were coming and was told they were. Next thing we know the kitchen extractor fans went into overdrive. Another 10 minutes past...and still no pizza. Asked again and was told it wouldn’t be long. When they did arrive they explained that the kitchen had to remake them. I assume our two pizza’s had been left in the oven and were cremated. Now these things happen but a) it should have been noticed by our waiter and b) we were waiting for all meals to arrive so the first 2 pizza’s were eaten cold. They should have prepared 4 new pizzas (and I guess we should have insisted but we were hungry!). Instead we were given a 10% discount. The staff were friendly enough but I think the management could and should have tried better to recover the situation.More

An idea of having a roof top establishment in an old hotel sounds excellent. However, the limited space and moving area makes it quite uncomfortable to move around. Menu was good But the absence of a kitchen to serve this restaurant makes it questionable as...to how clean the food is kept from the kitchen to the dining table. Kitchen was on another floor and food was brought up to the dining area via the stairs and i noticed the food was not covered.More

After a week in the jungle, we were pleased to have some European food. The restaurant is well hidden, as it is on the 7th floor of the hotel, but is worth the search. A good choice of food and a nice venue. The desserts...are amazing.More

We had this place recommended to us by a Canadian couple we met while in Sandakan. The last day of our stay before moving on was my birthday so we went. Once we actually found the place, it’s on the roof of a hotel! Up...in the lift to the top floor we went! Thankfully only 7 floors! Well it was such a lovely setting & the views amazing. I ordered a cocktail, in fact so delicious, I had 2! My partner had fish & I had a roasted maple pumpkin & walnut salad. Both were so so tasty, good sized portions. If we hadn’t been leaving today I think I would have had to go back this evening. 3 beers, 2 cocktails, 2 main meals plus 2 portions of fries & a pudding to share 240RM including tax & service charge. It’s so cheap it’s ridiculous. Only negative & it’s common in Asia unless eating street food, it’s never very hot.More

They did have meat and chicken and we had vegetarian items. I am not sure if the food was halal or not.
