Recommended by locals. Steamed Fish was smelly and was charged premium price. Lobster was fresh. Will NOT recommend this restaurant to anyone

Right on the water with over the top decor and neon lighting, amongst the sea village. Food tasty and cheap
Seafood here is excellent and cooked mostly in the Cantonese style. The location is challenging but the view when you finally get there is good. Talk to the boss for recommendations.
This place is still a good spot to have nice seafood meals whether with family members, friends or business associates
We ordered the Sabah Veggies, Pipis with garlic sauce, Fried Balck Sauce squids and steam fish with cocunut drinks. The food was yummy and the wait staff were attentive and courteous. We enjoyed the meals served there and would go there
We went to this restaurant because of the raving reviews. We were quite disappointed. The service was horrible, we were asked not to sit on a table until we order and nobody was around to take our order and when we finally managed to place...our order. We waited 30 minutes for our drink and had to ask for it. Then we were surprised that another person came to take our order!! After we were finally served the drink, the food came 15 minutes later. It was served without plates and it was bland and tasteless. The server presents the food in a rude manner and nobody seems to manage the place. Not recommended. Don't be fooled by the reviews it seems the restaurant is depending on its high reviews and doesn't care anymore in providing good service. Its a pity the service and food is horrible because the place is overlooking the ocean and the site is amazingMore
Even with low expectation, the food served was even worse. We ordered steamed kerapu, fried squid and butter prawns. The only dish that was okay was the squid, the rest was horrible. The fish was tough and they only served us 3 piece of prawn...as a small serving. The food was also a little bit on the pricier side. First and last time eating here.More
Will never go there again. If u r from kk better go to salut or welcome seafood restaurant. The price is almost the same and the taste is far better than sim2 sandakan.
the local loved this place. best place to bring any friends visiting sandakan as its simply one of its kind. the wooden passage to the restaurant is an adventure by itself. great food and price are reasonable to freshness.
Nothing but good things to say about this place, amazing quality and very very cheap! Spent 2 weeks in Borneo/KL and this was probably my favourite place to eat. Prawns, Crab, Clams, Mussels and lots of tasty fish - we ordered way too much food...for 4 of us and had wine/beers and the bill still came to under £50 Highly recommend you check this place out of you’re in Sandakan.More
This restaurant was recommended by local. The service was diabolical young girls sliopping about looking like they didn want to be there. The food when it finally arrived was not great. Prawns were greasy with ginger and garlic which had not been cook. Squid was...over cooked like eating rubber bands in batter and noodles had little flavour. When the man waiter asked why we hadn't eaten it. I explained it was overcooked. He the asked me if I wanted to take it home....No Thankyou.... Not expensive £8 per head. Seemed to be preferential service to locals. Give this one a missMore
Come early as early as 6pm if you dont want to wait in line. Good place for dinner with family & friends. Food are excellent!
We waited over 30 mins nobody wanted to take our order. They were walking around serving the locals or just sitting around. We asked for a menu they said they don’t have a menu. We left after waiting. Don’t dine here unless you have plenty...of time to spare.More
Restaurant on the left of the bridge number 8 the less fancy one. Food is okay but it take a very long time to be serve . The problem with this restaurant is the service is very bad the waiter (boss) take the order very...rudely and not being nice at all he didn't even ask us what to drinkMore
Located at the local know as Sim Sim neighbourhood. The restaurant original is house renovated become a restaurant. Local like to eat here too. Must try their salted fish made by the co-owner. Price is a little bit steep.
