Five visits, so ten meals between us, only one disappointed. Love the spicy fish with the Nasi Goreng and the noodles, especially the flat noodles have been superb. Typical Malaysian plastic chair restaurant but the food is cooked fresh and served hot so worth the...wait. Good value for the portion sizes and really tasty!More

We stayed in Sandakan 5 nights and went for dinner there 4x. It is next to the water and everyone is very friendly. The food they have on the menu is nicely cooked and cheap. We bought 2x fresh Tuna and Seafood in the local...Market nearby and they prepared it for us and it was the best dinners we had in 3 weeks in Malaysia.More

Had a very good meal food was tasty and worth every penny. The fried flat noodles where fabulous and I enjoyed then. The presentation is iffy but food speaks for itself. We went Saturday night and they stopped service at 2030

Was apprehensive about this restaurant given some reviews and the setting of the restauranr but there really is nothing to worry about. The food here is delicious, staff are friendly and the amount of choice you get is next to none. Would highly recommend this...restaurant for those travellers who can ignore the odd wiff of harbour smell and the odd stray cat and just enjoy the food. More

Great value food, good service and a nice view! Staff were really helpful and the juice selection was good. The toilets are terrible....

Friendly, quick service, good food & reasonably priced. Good ambient next to the sea. It isn't a michelin star restaurant but good food & experience it with open-mind!

A good restaurant serving local cuisine, located right on the promenade in the city center. Outdoor terrace. Relatively clean. All dishes, except the French Fries, may look unpresentable, but quite tasty. And most importantly, a beautiful view of the sea.

This restaurant is on the harbor between the tall Sheraton hotel and the navy station. Had two tasty plates of mixed vegetable and sweet and sour chicken with a side of rice made to order and a liter of water for under $5 U.S. dollars....Service was fine as it was mid-afternoon and not super-crowded.More

A generous portion at a good price. Though beware the ‘mild’ chicken was quite spicy so we assume the hot one would blow your face off! (We do eat hot curry normally). The service was good with English spoken reasonably well. There are plenty of...tables along the waterfront to get a sea breeze to calm the humidity and enjoy the outdoor dining. Though we were approached a few times at the table by kids begging as well as by stray cats, so note you are in the real Borneo here.More

A great place to try the local cuisine - very local setting - wide range of food and I would particularly recommend the "Mammy Chicken". Beer and soft drinks only available - very good value for money
