So myself and my daughter visited here (blond haired blue eyes) and felt that we stuck out like sore thumbs. None of the menu was in English and I was starting to wonder if we should leave, however a really friendly waiter came over to...help and after a conversation in broken English and a bit of pointing we ended up with the most amazing food. A full chicken breast in a lovely curry sauce each,, gorgeous biryiani type rice each, a naan bread each and 2 cans of coke - all for the sum of 20 ringit (£2 I kid you not!) A true gem

The Tea room close to the house is a truly wonderful gem. An old colonial bungalow, pretty gardens, croquet on the lawn, fabulous views and the most delicious afternoon tea.

Excellent Indian food in Sandakan

I had a Poori set which was served with sardine sambal and dhall. Washed it down with a glass of bru coffee. I walked in to this unassuming restaurant for tea and was very pleasantly surprised at the excellent quality of the food. The service...was quirky but attentive. I would certainly recommend this place for anyone wishing to sample Indian food in Sandakan.More

Bit nervous but no issues

From the street, it looks more suited to just the locals, but we had no issues with either the food (very cheap) as well as the service despite the language difficulties. Definitely worth "stepping of the curb" to try.

Dinner in sandakan

Dinner here twice.very good food and very helpful and friendly staff. Good local cuisine very clean,directly opposite the main shopping mall on the seafront.

As a diner I expect much more!

As a visitor to Malaysia and Sandakan, it would have been nice to be greeted by friendly staff but no, that didn't happen. They spent their time chatting and it felt like they were avoiding taking our order. The food looked like it had been...reheated over and over and definitely not fresh. There is so few food options along this strip that this restaurant could be a go to instead of a stay away. Cheap but you don't even get what you pay for,More

I had the best indian food in sandakan with my family.they serve delicious fish head curry n so many other varieties of indian food.i really love it...😚😚
