Had lunch right on the beach. Calling the cafe a restaurant - or even a cafe - would perhaps be exaggerating it. It’s more like a stall with plastic chairs and tables. But - the food was good, drinks were cold and the view amazing...(as you are right on the beach). Also, waitress was really kind! Recommended!More
Had lunch here for 2 consecutive days. Located by the beach, simple and open setup. Nia Cafe does their fried rice (nasi goreng) and noodles (mee goreng) really well - so much flavour and texture cooked just right for us. The price is slightly higher,...if you’re comparing to the usual local Malay stalls, but the portion & the satisfying taste of their dishes makes up for the price. They have a variety on their menu including western meal options. Definitely worth giving this place a try!More

This place serves good food, really enjoyed their kway teow goreng and iced tea. Their drinks come in huge mugs. It was really nice to be able to enjoy a leisure meal by the beach.
4 different dishes, all tasty. Island food is normally not that exiting, but for the plain malay style food that it primaryly is, Nia delivers. Yummi.
I spent almost a week in Perhentian in March 2019, had several meals at Nia Cafe and enjoyed every single one of them. The maggi soup with squid was the best I've ever had. Note though that they have limited opening hours, they usually close...before sunset. Overall highly recommended!More
Nia cafe as beach cafe/bistro served good local food. Unfortunately open hours are from 8am to 15.30pm, maybe that is becouse now is Ramadan.
We went for a lassi or smoothie every day and ate there a few times. Tasty and so cheap!! They also do laundry
