My recent dining experience at the World Cafe absolutely met and exceeded any expectations that I had. The wait staff is friendly, helpful and attentive. To be fair, the prices are a bit daunting; however, you get what you pay for. The menu offers a range of selections and each dish that arrived out of the kitchen had me second guessing whether I made the right choice for my order, but in a good way. The Pacific mussels appetiser was excellent and the gnocchi pasta with pesto and parmesan and topped with grilled prawns was prepared to perfection and flavourful. The atmosphere in general just makes it a very pleasant place to spend the evening. I will be back.

Fabulous setting – the views are spectacular and the restaurant area is lovely. The service team were the best we have ever experienced. Nasir was fabulous, he knew what we needed before we knew ourselves, remembering our regular orders and working hand in hand with Mikey to provide a great service.
The food was spectacular. Breakfast offered freshly squeezed juice to order, an array of fresh fruit, pastries rolls, nuts and yoghurt. The fantastic catering team were also on hand to provide hot food to order. Waquar’s French toast with banana and chocolate sauce was the best we have ever eaten. The breakfast omelette also rivalled anything we have had elsewhere. For lunch or in the evening, we had a vast choice of Thai, western and BBQ food. Between Angelo’s western delights, the thai team’s expert dishes and the BBQ specialities we worked hard to eat as much of the menu as possible so we could experience everything. The team regularly came out to engage with the guests and discuss our feedback and experience.
A wonderful restaurant on a wonderful island.

This restaurant was great, the food was delicious - yes a bit pricey for the Italian food options but worth it. The place was clean, the staff was friendly, very professional and attentive to customers. They truly gave us the holiday feel we were looking for when going on holiday to the Perenthian islands.
Special shout out to "five" who indulged us in a conversation about his best tips on when and what to do around!

We stayed at the hotel and tried their food for our dinner. Food was really nice and delicious. Portion was a big huge for some food, probably will be ok for hearty eater. But took quite some time to get our food served, I guess they were a bit understaffed.

By far, the best place to eat if you are craving western food. They specialize in italian (pasta), but have a wide variety. Excellent barman too and decent wine list.

The food is good and worth the price, but the service is quite poor. During one hour, 4 different people were at our table. We ordered starter and later we tried to order main ( it took us 45 minutes to place the order). After that time we were not able to order king prawns cause the ran out of enough for two. We really tried to order but everyone said they will check the barbecue and did not come back to us. Everyone was stressed, there were 4 people responsible for 8 table, how is that possible? Overall this place could be great but is not using all opportunities to do so.

We came here for a few cocktails on the beach and tried the seared scallops and a few other small dishes, then ended up returning here several times. The seafood is very fresh and delicious and the staff are extremely friendly and kind. We will definitely return on our next visit

We had our diner here twice while staying at Long Beach. Great surroudings and athmosphere. Friendly staff and great service. First time I had the snapper which was absolutely dilicios. Second time I had th esalmon pasta which was nothing special. Prices are fair, but a bit pricier than we have ben used to in Malaysia. Would definitely visit again.

A great place for an evening Barbeque but be warned that it is slightly higher priced compared to the other stretch of restaurants on Long Beach.
They have a good selection of wine too!

We came in as a group of 4 and order a lot of food as we are starving to this Italian restaurant.
The carbonara is very good. Food is good.
Internet is one of the quickest here. I would recommend the food here even though it’s more expensive then the street beach stalls.

We had the best meal so far at World Cafe in our 3 nights stay at Long Beach, served with Italian food which is superb especially the risotto and smoked salmon is a must try! Definitely will be back again!

This is the best of place to stay in perhentian kecil, worth money in accomodation family v young kids, best breakfast, friendly all staffs there, foods n drinks sold there is quite expensive, but worth, because is delicious, seefood fresh, enviroment is clean, room perfect, very suitable for family v young kids

This is by far the best option (though more expensive) for a good meal in Perhentian. Nice setting and friendly staff. Dishes were brought almost instantly (but it was during low season with not so many people). Smoked salmon salad and BBQ fish were excellent. The chocolate souffle was not the best but still ok.
