Food is variable but maybe not as good as the Aima restaurant that's about 100m away. (Hazeme is opposite Redang De' Rimba resort, Aima is just outside the front gates of the Taaras resort.) Staff seemed less warm and attentive than Aima's. Maybe okay for...variety or a quick drink, I guess.More
Came here for breakfast after checking into our hotel just opposite. Only had 2 selection. Took the nasi minyak kari ayam. It was ok but the food isn't hot. So i doubt its freshness. Was a little worried when i ate it, and couldnt finish...my portion. Perhaps ok if you are not a choosy eaterMore
We were the other people in the restaurant but unfortunately the service made us feel a tad uncomfortable. The staff did not seem welcoming to us and the food was not as good as the other restaurant up the road. All of the dishes had...bones in, including the sweet and sour. It was a real shame and we were pretty disappointed.More
Firstly I don't understand why TripAdvisor reports this restaurant as closed, THEY ARE OPEN 7am to 10pm and they serve an excellent local food with really affordable price. It is approx 200mt from Taaras Resort where unlikely here food is overpriced and unfortunately not good...at all. If you want to taste local food and good drinks (not alcohol) just come and enjoy and don't worry for the bill.More
The food is delicious, we had noodles with squid, noodles with seafood, squid rice and fried squid (yes, we love squid!). Everything was delicious and super fresh. This is a great alternative to the very expensive food at Taaras.
Very good food, prices very low. You can find local food. The local is very simple, but the quality is good. Try it!
Around 100m away from the Taaras resort entrance/guard house on the main road in the direction of the Redang village and jetty. Same local Malay food and drinks offering as Aima but at half the price. We ate here for lunch and dinner and were...not disappointed. Paid less than MYR30 (USD 8) for 2 fresh fruit juices and a plate of fried noodles and a plate of fried rice for two for lunch.More
Great local food . Friendly owners . Had a delicious fish. We went a few times to have a change from our hotel cuisine .
Came here on the second day of my holiday and been coming back everyday, going to one week now. Food is very affordable, I would say even cheaper than the other restaurants around it. Vegetables are really good and so are their seafood dishes. Portions...are also a good size. My favourite dish from theirs is their grilled fish with a sauce topping that blew my mind!, best grilled fish i had by far!. Staff are nice and friendly as well. Can't wait to go back!.More
