Staying in rissani at the hotel panorama has been the highlight of our 2 month stay in morocco. The welcome in genuine and warm, the food excellent, but most importantly you are made to feel like a part of the family. It is not the most luxurious hotel, but it is clean and comfortable. The hosts were intelligent and knowledgable... More

We had lunch over there, while on the way to Merzouga. Good place to sit, watch things happen in Rissani, good coffee, above all: very friendly people.

Hotel panorama is a great place for hanging out, having a tea or eating a pizza berber. If you have any need, the owner will arrange it for you. We rented some bikes, through a friend of them. Be prepared to negotiate the price, they don't give away anything. The energy of the place is really good. Even if we... More

We stayed at Panorama for an entire day. They were so friendly and treated us like family. We felt very welcome here the entire time. The food was well priced and very delicious! Bathrooms were very clean and bedrooms were well priced and appeared well kept, although we did not have time to stay overnight. We will definitely come back... More

We had an overnight bus from Rissani after spending the night in the desert, so we thought we would explore the town during the day. We ended up spending five hours at this restaurant - first for lunch because the terrace offered respite from hawkers, and then again in the evening because our hosts were so generous and lovely that... Terrace above busy square, with good view. This hotel also offers breakfasts, but the chef or whoever was that man, was so annoying and intrusive in pursuit of his small businesses (to get a "cheap taxi" for us) that we refused to go try his meals. Not nice rooms, not nice toilets and showers. Also someone was repeatedly knocking our... More

Moroccan cuisine is very delicious, even when it remains simple. The taste of market products from local producers is further enhanced by savory spice mixtures, but not too strong. They consist of a starter, a main course traditionally a Madfouna pizza. Additionaly will be a Moroccan salad or varied. The dish will be a choice: Madfouna taijiine, couscous, delicious grilled meat kebabs, or a Berber omelette. And usually for dessert you will enjoy seasonal fruits.
