The food was ok. Limited option for veggie and vegan food. After a tour of the pisco making area the pisco sour tasting afterwards was fun.
My wife & I were part of an international group of travelers in Peru and our tour guide had booked tables here for our group for lunch. Seems to be a popular place - it was crowded. My wife requested vegan food & they were...able to provide it to her. Rest of us ate Peruvian food. There was nothing memorable about the meal, but it wasn’t bad eitherMore
We ordered our lunch in advance. We were in the middle of nowhere and wondered where we were going to eat lunch. This is after we visited the Ballesta Island. So this is the place, out of main street. Upon arrival, they were ready for...us with our order. We got fresh juice with our meal, a choice of different varieties. In the end, they made our excursion and lunch time quick and efficient. The group was happy with their food. Madame owner was every friends. This place is very big and it looks like an operation of three generations. Lunch is nice but no dessert?More
We stopped by here after a Nazca and Huacachina tour. Wonderful local food. The duck with the green rice was outstanding. The Lima bean avocado salad was delicious. The lomo saltado with tacu tacu was one of the best we have had in Peru. A...big plus are the nearby shops where you can do Pisco and wine tasting.More
Another touristic destination "dictated" by our Peruvian tour guide. After our visit in Nasca, we were taken there for lunch. Nice interior, good service, but only Peruvian food. YOU CAN EASILY SKIP IT
First time in 2 years we returned for lunch. Service was mediocre. Very short (in fact too short wait) for the food and long wait after to receive forks and knives to eat the food. One of my tests for a return visit is condition...of the bathroom. It was at best, DISGUSTING. My husband said the same of the mens room. What does that say about the cleanliness of the kitchen and workers? Food was OK BUT nothing to return forMore
Our guide Jorge took us to a restaurant located on a narrow road called the Rita del Pisco filled with tasting rooms from nearby vineyards. La Olla de Juanita restaurant was an open air restaurant attached to the Tres Generacions La pureza del Pisco tasting...room. We ate first. We both had cream of asparagus soup w Parmesan cheese and the classic Peruvian dish pollo salita (sautéed chicken with onions and tomatoes, rice, and French fries). We washed it down with a glass of delicious passion fruit juice. The restaurant was nearly empty at 4:30 PM. I wouldn’t say it was terrible but it was not the nouvelle cuisine of Peru. After lunch we moved next door to the Pisco tasting room. We tasted Pisco liqueurs, wines and a coffee cream. All too sweet for my taste but nice to try.More
The food was great, specially the carapulcra y sopa seca. Tasty food, nice service, great portions and a nice variety of Peruvian dishes to choose from. The restaurant's atmosphere was wonderful and clean. Outside, there is a small specialty food market, where you can buy...Pisco, wine, desserts, also souvenirs.More
The place is nicely situated in a small street. The restaurant iT self is quite expensive for what you get: 40 soles for a meal however the ambiance is really nice and the reason I would-be recommand you To go there.
We went here for lunch and had a great meal... They offer a great selection of Peruvian food and their Pisco Sours are fantastic! The staff are very friendly and helpful. Well worth a visit.
We were lucky to go on a day of celebration where there were performances and the owners provided spectacular service! Very attentive and took extra care of our English needs. Food was good - we both had the duck on rice.
This restaurant has the best Peruvian food! As soon as we arrived to Ica, Perú, everyone recommended it and we could not be more pleased. The food is super fresh and tasty. The service was great! it is located in a very touristic place, the...Pisco road, where you can taste different varieties of Pisco and learned about the Pisco production. Everyone was very nice and made us feel welcome. I loved the experience!More
Food was not i as expected, sevice was poor, prices are way too high for the taste of the food you are expecting.,.,.
They said the food was going to be the best. We really didn’t liked it that much. Service was ok, fair priced.
