I went to Bolta Rece with friends. We usually go here for lunch. It's nice to sit on the terrace and see the people pass by. The food is Romanian traditional, it is good and fresh and the waiters are fast and polite.

We had dinner in the cellar, absolute recconendation. The cioba de burra (trips soup, not everybody's taste, but I love it) was great, one of the best I had. Also the other dishes are excellent. Reasonable prices. If in Iasi, don't miss it, you have to go there!

They "upgrade" the prices about 25%. The price of mineral water is 400%. The waiter constantly forget what was ordered. I saw how they recycle the "house wine" from the glasses of those who went back to pitcher. Incredible!!

The food is good, wine cellar look gorgeous and the perfume of Eminescu, Creanga or Pastorel Teodoreanu is still in the air. Prices are OK.

Excellent traditional genuine Moldavian food and wine. Atmosphere created by Lautari, a group of vocal and instrumental performers playing/singing music of the between wars period. Unforgettable evening.

Good food and wine, good quality for money. We served dinner downstairs it was a little too dark but service was ok. We enjoyed the history of the place and for everyone visiting Iasi this is a place to check.

It doesn`t look great. not at all. But the food was great and at a bargain price. I`ve eaton some chicken soup and some sheep pastrami. The sheep was really amazing. Not sure if i`ve ever eaten better pastrami...

If you want some Romanian dishes - this is the place. Many traditional dishes, including anything you might think of. All well made as expected. Note there is a "regular" ground floor, but also a cellar, which was once a wine cellar, where the atmosphere is somewhat more local, optionally with live music.

Went with wife and Mother in law. There are 2 floors to the place, the tip floor is simple, very local and great service. The basement is more traditional with nice red MAPS and waiters all dressed with Romania cloths. I recommend the lower floor for tourists and tip for better food.... Enjoyed but still not great.

Thank Shaikidon
