Nice historical hotel with a great location in the center of Kandy. Could be fantastic with some maintenance. Room was adequate, but like most hotels in Sri Lanka, the bathroom was moldy and paint peeling. We had a room that faced the pool so traffic noise wasn't an issue (thanks to the concierge). Overall not bad for a last minute... More

This is the 2nd time we have stayed at the Queens Hotel. There seemed on this occasion that the hotel is on run down with noticeable less staff but those there were extremely helpful. This is a very old hotel and regains a Victorian image which is why we used it yet again. The rooms are small but okay for... More

I have stayed at Queens many times before. But this time I stayed just one night and was disappointed at the service and quality of food and facilities. When I spoke to the hotel manager about the state of rooms he said a significant renovation is due in 2018. The wifi hardly worked, the reception said as I walked in... More

Conveniently located in the Queen's Hotel, I found the menu offered a wide assortment of items, priced from the low to mid range; the service was good and the food tasty.

This is an old hotel during British coloniel time. Though renovated, but you can fell the old ambience like old elevator, antique furniture etc. Very large and spacious high ceilling rooms. Walkable to the Lake and the Royal Palace.

This is a beautiful hotel. I have been many times over the past 12 years. Recently I was saddened by the lack of service, food, and ability to look after those wishing to have a restful stop and enjoy a cup of tea and a little to eat. The cup and saucer was chipped and the waiters lazy. This could... More
