Just had a quick breakfast here of coffee cake and doughnuts. The doughnuts weren't the freshest and the server knew this and heated them up in the microwave before being asked. All cakes at all the places we've been to here seem to be stale but this morning the slice of cake was soft and fresh. The large coffees were... More

I ate a breakfast sandwich here on my way out of town. It was edible, but overpriced and a bit slow considering it was just two pieces of toast with burnt eggs, a piece of ham, and a piece of cheese in between. I would not recommend it as a first choice.

Cheap comfort food! Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner. I have been living in Costa Rica and found a slice of Americana in Bocas.

If you want a greasy spoon with raw hamburger this is the place for you! Bathrooms have no soap and you have to handle a key. Overpriced and if you must a pizza is your best bet.

I only had a batido (panamanian milkshake) in Golden and it was very good. The tiny little restaurant in the same area called Mama's cooking makes the best soup. The first day I got chicken soup and went back a couple of days later and they had beef soup. I am not sure what the secret ingredient is but both... More

I used to go there to get water from their machine until it started giving less and less and less water to the point that the amount dispensed was too ridiculous to ignore (it should be 25 cents for a gallon- was nowhere near that). I believe they've adjusted these machines on purpose to dispense less water so you spend... More

Needless to say, with prices as low as advertised, we shouldn't have expected to much. The pancakes were heavy and lacked flavor. More syrup might have helped. The omelet was nothing but a flat bunch of eggs folded like a pocket square and tasted like rubber. The service was slow, and the facilities dirty. Avoid.

It's cheap. Cheaper than most of the places in Bocas. And it has lots of choices. Well, don't even think of stopping there. Just keep walking. It's really BAD food. I had empanadas (probably they made them three days before), French fries (too greasy) and veggie burger, the worst of my life. Horrible food, bad service and bad place.

$5 for a very small but nonetheless tasty cheeseburger and ice cold 7up. Right on the main street so easy to find. Decent free WiFi

This is a good spot to get cheap food to fill up on. Nothing too special but the price is right if you are on a tight budget. They have free wifi and the cappuchinos are pretty good. It is good that there are some cheaper places to eat at to save a few dollars when travelling Bocas. Ate there... More
