We had plates that had several south indian dishes. It was very tasty. The staff were not especially great in their service but that seems to be the way in most places. The place is great place to visit if you're nearby but it's quite far and I wouldn't say it's worth going there from further away.

We had the set dosa and Bombat dosa. Really enjoyed both - particularly how thick the second one was. No idea how authentic it all was but was as good as the more local dosa places we visited, while in a more relaxed environment with creative flavours on offer. Would recommend!

Came 2 days in a row. Tried their dosas and their paddu - all delicious. Great sauces, well presented, everything had perfect texture. Tried paddu for the first time and went to heaven. Good stuff. Filter coffee is yummy too.

Heard a lot about this place. It's a regular South Indian restaurant, very average food and service. Not very impressed with the restaurant design and lay out too.

The Dosa (Mysore Masala and Malleshwaram 18th Cross) are very good and so is the Dahi Vada. But the taste of SAMBHAR is poor. It taste more like a dal with vegetable and not a sambhar. There is no sour taste which is very surprising since I have visited more than 50 south Indian restaurant in Delhi and I have... More

Food was authentic. Service was also good. I have tried Bombat dosa, made with white butter(as mentioned in the menu). Taste was just superb.

Carnatic Café is a small restaurant tucked away in an otherwise forgotten and rather dingy little mall in New Friends Colony. We rarely come here, even though it’s quite close to our house, but we’ve eaten previously at Carnatic Café, and enjoyed it. One weekend, when my sister suggested we meet up here for lunch, therefore, we agreed readily. There... More

Very authentic south Indian food, including filter cafe. A small place though decorated in a unique way. Service was prompt.

I went to the Carnatic Café over 2 days in January. The Ragi Rotis and the Malleswaram Dosa are very authentic Kannadiga food and very wholesome. Coffee is good, service is good and prices are very reasonable. This is a great place to try out Karnataka food in Delhi.
