Crab in butter garlic is to die for. Fried bombay duck, Prawns on stick, and appams with beer or sol kadi Alls found it value for money.

We normally go to a another popular seafood place nearby but went to Ankur for a change. Most of the dishes were very good, especially the fish but all the meat I tried was also very tasty.

It was a quiet night at the restaurant especially as they have one of the roads next to them dug up. The service and food was very good coastal cuisine. We had Ravas fish cooked in a dry sauce which was succulent, spicy not hot and very tasty. We followed this with prawns Kundapur which were seriously hot yet good... More

For many years we have been eating at trishna one of the very often written about and touristy manglorean coastal food restaurants in south Mumbai and of late feeling jaded with it. Last night we were persuaded by friends to book a table at Ankur near the stock exchange and we dont regret it as this small but comfortable eatery... More

Ankur-The Coastal Bistro, established in 1941 dishes out some nice sea food from Mangalore as well as other Coastal regions of India. My husband & I are ever ready for sea food so we decided to dine here the other night. It is located in one of the oldest parts of Mumbai,a quiet by-lane with parking available( which is normally very... More

The non veg food is very good and tasty as well. The kori tori is a must try out here. The cost is slightly on a higher side but it's definitely an option for fine dine. Trishna and this one are on a comparable ground and my preference would be Ankur

We were a group of 15 people and the management gracefully allowed us to occupy the entire upper level. The starters consisted of generous helpings of Chicken Tikka, Squid Masala, Batter Fried Prawns and Tandoori Fish. The mains were Prawn Gassi, Butter Crab Meat (without the shell) and Appams & Neer Dosa. There is only one word to describe the... More

I normally go there for lunch and it is not crowded. It gets crowded in the evenings. The ambiance is good, the service is excellent, and the sea food is great. Various fish and prawns in dry sauce or gravy. The neer dosa are great with the meal. The prices are reasonable.

This is a small local resteraunt that specialises in seafood. The food is very good. The local fish rawas and the spicy prawns are worth eating. Also the lobster in butter garlic sauce.

Love the sea food, try the Kerala prawns and fish thekady, the cocktails are also quite unique. The service is very friendly and if you are vegetarian don't worry the selection is very adequate
