One of the finest punjabi restaurant in Dadar. You will always find this place crowded and on waiting because of its food quality and service.

Old school Punjabi / North Indian fare which is well made but definitely unhealthy. The service is fine and acceptable.

I try and visit this restuarant whenever I am in Mumbai. It has withstood the test of time and the changing tastes, but continues to serve good food in traditional Punjabi culture. Serve good food to your guests. The joint tries its best to segregate the seating and makes you feel very special.

- The food here is just outstanding, great taste - The tandoori is mouth watering - Separate drinking and non-drinking sections - Wide range of north Indian delicacies and kebabs - Great ambience - Excellent service - Prices are high...still worth a try!

One of the oldest restaurants in Central Mumbai that still serves authentic Punjabi food. Went on a weekend with family, the ambience is good and the service is also good. They also serve Chinese but Punjabi food is what one should order. For starters had the chicken tandoori which is lip smacking, the rawas koliwada was also good, the tandoori... More

I went for dinner here with a couple of friends and it's not my first time here. I tried some new items on the menu this time and they did not disappoint! I tried the new anjeer chicken, and this is by far the juiciest chicken I have ever eaten. Similarly I tried the sitafal rabdi, I cannot recommend this... More

Great Punjab restaurant near Dadar TT is one of the best places to eat Punjabi. The place is also soaked in history as it is over 60 years old and has seen pre-independence era as well. Some of the must try dishes are signature Dal Makhani, Paneer Tikka and Butter Chicken

The good was delicious here and with a little guidance we were able to order a selection of starters and mains to share. I would recommend the veg platter, mutton bhunna and roti selection. Cocktails were just ok and some tasted a little artificial.

Description
Established in 1959 by Trilok Singh Gandhi and his brothers, The Great Punjab is one of the oldest restaurants in Mumbai. Mr. T.S. Gandhi is a pioneer in the hospitality business and was on the executive committee of the Federation of Hotel and Resaturant (FHRI), member of National Restaurant Association of India (NRAI) and the Maharashtra Association of Hotel and Restaurant. The restaurant has been boasting visits from the film fraternity and the political circles alike. Known for its succulent kebabs, 'pilli' dal and for its homely feel the restaurant was a popular destination for all.T.S. Gandhi's two sons have continued with the family business. The foremost Great Punjab in Dadar, managed by Manninder Singh Gandhi (the elder son), continues to serve some of the old delicacies but keeping with the times has added a host of dishes like the pepper chicken to its delectable menu. The younger of the brothers, Arvinder Singh Gandhi, has started another restaurant under the same name in Powai targeting the younger crowd working in the city's upcoming corporate hub.The baton will soon pass to Dhruveer, son of Manninder Singh Gandhi. Having successfully completed his Hospitality Management studies in Switzerland, he is pursuing his studies in the acclaimed International College of Hotel Management in Australia. Carrying forward the family legacy and his grandfather's wishes, Dhruveer wants to open additional outlets of the restaurant that keep up with the ever changing palates of the Mumbaikars!
