The appearance of this place didn't inspire much confidence but, being very hungry and passing by, we decided to give it a go. The food was actually fairly good - a lovely fresh garlic naan being the highlight. Though all in all, nothing special and possibly a little overpriced thanks to it featuring in various guidebooks. Wouldn't make a special... More

The food we ordered arrived quickly and was freshly cooked to order. It was tasty but then ruined when the bill arrived as the total had been rounded up from Rs 460 to Rs 600 with no explanation. When we asked the staff for a breakdown they were unfriendly and intimidating - we managed to get a copy of the... More

Very average food & totally overpriced for tourists. Not only is there a more expensive menu just for foreigners, they'll also add a 10% service tax on to the bill. No ambience or comfort - surly and disinterested staff. Will definitely not return!

We paid 90 rupees for a medium plain rice bowl and 160 for a mix veg dish with paneer. The food was nothing more than average. When finished a thick layer of oil covered the plate. Nevertheless, they have a much cheaper local menu in hindi, when the manager was asked about it, he started to get angry and shout... More

Just popped in for drinks, the staff were very unhelpful and unwelcoming. We were inside as the rooftop had no shade - the atmosphere was like a chai shop, but with significantly higher prices. The drinks were good, so I can't give it one star. Saw a man pissing in the corner on the way out.

GAnesh is a little gem of a place situated above old town. We enjoyed watching the cooking, especially the making and cooking of nan in the tandoori oven. Excellent food and sweet lassi! Would we go again....YES!

Delicious hidden gem. It took us quite a while to find it, and when we did, due to the appearance we almost turned back around again. If it weren't for the fact that it was filled with people we would have left. Hidden above the main bazaar, you have to find a tiny stair case which is 10 shops to... More

This place has not a nice ambience, not the perfect food and not the cleanest conditions. We visited it after the Lonely Planet's recommendation but its poor in many things, not a highlight at all!

Food was pretty good, but a bit more expensive than we thought for a very basic restaurant. Service wasn't great - chewing tobacco whilst trying to discuss food with us and on the phone when we needed to pay and leave

A Dhaba which is one of the oldest name located at top of shops in Nehru bazar in jaipur walled city. We sat on old iron chairs which is not an issue and as the weather was great no sun we could sit and eat , we ordered half shahi paneer and half daal fry in butter which was served... More
