A small, very small restaurant at shovabazar. Know for its traditional fish items - superb fish fry! Kabiraji and mutton cutlets are equally delicious! This old kolkata outlet is A must try when at North Kolkata!

I think that "Mitra Cafe" is a number 1 cafe in kolkata in all respect .I am a almost regular customer at VIP ROAD outlet. The food quality is best in the kolkata and very mild behavior.

Well,so I finally I visited this place....situated at a 2-3minutes distance from sovabajar metro station. You can ask anyone there about the location and you will easily be able to reach at mitra cafe. 🤗 It's a little cafe with congested sitting arrangements with wooden chair-tables. We were just 30minutes late till opening of the cafe in the afternoon...and they... More

This place is absolutely over hyped. I went there at around 9pm yesterday, they had finished everything and had only chicken pakora and kashas. I bought one full plate for 240 rupees for 12 pcs. The pakoras were absolute rubbish and total rip off. Full of bones, no seasoning and very little chicken. Later that night my wife fell sick... More

A must visit place in north Kolkata for some mouth watering Kabirajis. Why Visit? 1) Offcourse for savouring the delicacy if you are already a fan or are on an eating spree 2) Cheap eats Cons: 1) Poor ambience . But then who cares about ambience when you can get pocket & taste bud friendly food. :)

If you want to taste Kolkata......come here. The ambiance is like the city itself....warm...crowded, unassuming from outside....but delectable. Have their excellent Kabiraji...chicken cutlets.....and if you are lucky enough, go for the Brain Chop. Great food....and unbelievable value for money. Eat here.

One of the oldest restaurants in kolkata. Really loved the Fish Kabraji and Fish Afgani, two of the best preparations in the list. Also famous for Cutlet, Brain Chop and many other veg and non veg recipes. Homely ambience though little bit congested.
