I ate here because all I have heard about is how great it is. I was in Decatur for business and it was not good at all. The BBQ needed tons of sauce to taste good and the coleslaw was awful. I had to trade my sweet tea in for a Pepsi because it tasted like it had been run... More

Iconic, reliable, award winning BBQ joint! Have been stopping here for 25 years. NEVER disappointed. Had a mixed BBQ platter - Brisket melts in your mouth, ribs fall off the bone! Wife had the stuffed potato, with pulled pork. After trying my brisket, she said that's what she'd have next time. Friendly staff, very casual setting, reasonable prices. Ya'll come... More

Yeah I said it. We had heard about this place on TV, magazines, and it was the #1 BBQ place in north Alabama! Dreamland BBQ in Tuscaloosa blows Bob's out of the water! Every local hyped this place up. The "famous" white bbq sauce is so thin all it did was wet the bun! The pork was okay and their... More

A must-do while in Decatur. Unbelievable food, great service - you must try the white BBQ sauce (we bought a bottle). Sometimes crowded and they close at 8 pm on Saturday, seems a little early to me.

We rode down from Jackson Tennessee (350 mile round trip) after seeing this spot on a Food Network rating of BBQ locations across the country. We arrived and although busy we were seated right away. Once we ordered it took only about five minutes for our food to arrive. Every entree was great as were the sides. The service was... More

Love the pulled pork with vinegar sauce (optional). I could eat the sauce on bread, crackers, or cardboard. And the Brunswick Stew can't be beaten.

We decided to visit this place because we heard how good the BBQ was and we tried it and it was awful. Very small sandwiches with little BBQ and the coleslaw on my sandwich was bad. The only saving grace was the chicken wings. They were actually really good. But I would not go back here.

We had read about this place in Southern living and my husband loves to smoke meat so this was a must try on our big RV adventure. I had the chicken with the white sauce and it was delicious. My husband had the combo which included the brisket. Well worth the visit and would recommend to anyone to go.

We were able to try out this much talked about BBQ place on a recent trip to the south, and personally, I can't wait to get back. I am a brisket person, so I will always give that a try, however, I also wanted to try their chicken which is what they are known best for. For me, it's all... More

Had dinner here with work friends. They easily accommodated 10 of us together and brought our food out quickly. The food was very good, with the brisket and ribs being the best. The pork was a little dry, but still good. The baked beans were excellent but the mac and cheese was amazing (very creamy!) Bottomless lemonade was nice, but... More
