Years ago you could find several "soda shops, soda fountains" in various places such as shopping stores or some pharmacies and there you could get a sandwich or milkshake or ice-cream and Trowbridges reminds me a lot of these long gone soda shops. Trowbridges is always very crowded and there is a reason for that, you can get some good... More

Since 1918 this place has been around! We went in for ice cream, and were not disappointed. Hubby's banana split was the bomb!

Stopped in for a hot fudge Sunday and this place was like going back in time. Friendly staff who makes the sundaes and prices that were unbelievably low. Great experience if you are visiting Florence

Its rare to see a cute little burger and shake place like this, but I love that it's still here! I grew up in this town and this is one of the most historic locations and delicious food that anyone can enjoy!

The only thing on the menu that has changed in 100 years is the prices. We had a simple lunch and an "oh my gosh" for desert. For two people who grew up on bologna sandwiches, it was a nostalgic, pleasant lunch.

We went there on our trip to Florence. It is like stepping back in time. All we had this trip were sundaes. But amazing. Great atmosphere. Such a cool place. Definitely worth a stop and visit.

This place has been in business since before I went to college here in the 80's and really hasn't changed. Even the prices seem to be about the same as they were in the 80's. The sandwiches are great (especially the homemade pimento cheese) and the milkshakes and malts are out of this world. It's like going back in time... More

Take a step back in time from the moment you walk into this charming, old fashioned soda shop. The decor is wonderfully retro and the prices are too! Although famous for its orange pineapple ice cream, this cute shop offers plenty of other favors along with great sandwiches and soups.

This is one of our favorite places. It is small but quick service and the prices are cheap, cheap, cheap. It has been kept as original as possible and the homemade pimento cheese is a must. (I suggest buying a to go container.) The prices are very reasonable and my daughter loves the banana sandwich, chips, and floats.
