One of the best tasting putu piring i have tasted. Wish the putu piring is smaller in size so that can pop into the mouth in just one or 2 bites, it would taste even better!!

Soft, fluffy full of fragrant gula melaka goodness!! It's so yummy and worth the queue by the roadside. Book online via their Facebook page if you are ordering a lot. Must try if you are ever in Melaka. According to my knowledgeable Malaccan friend, the gula melaka (palm sugar) used is made the traditional way by a seller whose shop... More

i realised that there are so many mixed reviews about this little humble home food stall, and i have to say that taste is very very and extremely subjective. It's amazing how a putu piring which is simply made of 3 ingredients - rice flour, gula melaka and shredded coconut, can turn up the senses of many to such a... More

You must eat the Putu Piring from this stall to know what is "REAL" Putu Piring. The gula melaka is fragrant as it should be as it is from Melaka and be a bit too sweet but then may be due to my cut back on sugar as my other companions felt otherwise. So save some stomach space for this... More

The gula melaka a little too sweet. There was a queue when we were there at around 8.30pm. The lady and her family members were quite efficient.

I read about the famous Putu Piring on Jalan Tengkera and decided to walk to the shop after dinner from Jonker Walk. As I was with a Caucasian friend who had no idea what Putu Piring was, I started to describe it as something so delicious that he had to try it. It was drizzling and by the time we... More

If you are wondering what it is, it's steamed rice flour cake with gula melaka. It cost RM1.10 and is best eaten while warm. It has a fluffy texture to it and is really aromatic and flavourful. It is a simple yet delicious snack that you can have after dinner. The stall is located just outside a home and opens... More

The stall opens from 0430p.m. to 1030p.m. (Closed on Sunday). I personally recommend local and foreign tourist to try this home-made dessert. You can easily identify this stall because the stall is the owner's house and you may identify fewer people queueing up to buy this delicious dessert, The Putu Piring is only RM1.10 per piece and it really worth...
