Staff are quite rude maybe because they've work long there. Sambal is good. Rendang Chicken served was not hot, taste is below our expectation. Other dishes like sambal fish, kangkung belacan was not bad.

Great restaurant if you are looking for good Nyonya food. Must try: Otak, ikan bilis and the samba. Restaurant has limited space so prepare for Q if you are coming during the peak hours.

We tried calling 2 weeks before but no one picks up the phone. Hence we tried our luck the day we arrived into Malacca and fortunately we managed to secure a booking. Went there for lunch the next day. Food was great. We ordered a total of 9 dishes and we all love it. Will be back again for sure.

Restoran Nyonya Makko was extremely crowded on a Saturday afternoon. All the tables were occupied and we were told to wait outside. This turned to be quite a long wait. Wonder if we could have called for reservation earlier. The dishes were pretty well done, and prices were reasonable. My only complaint was the rice. Not soft, fluffy and warm...

Excellent food and service. Waitress was able to help us to decipher several Malaysian dishes and help us choose. The local fish in a spice sauce was really good, along with sides of mixed veg and big plate of rice. All fresh, excellent quality and really good value for money. We got the last table at around 6.20pm, place absolutely... More

We were told that this restaurant served good nyonya food. So we decided to give it a try. First time i dined in a restautant that turned on its air con at full blast. Everyone was shivering. The waitresses said they needed to circulate the air. Werent they afraid that the food would turn cold very fast? Anyway, we ordered... More

Arrived exactly at 6 pm, there was a few people waiting outside already. The restaurant opens at 6 pm. Friendly staffs. Delicious nyonya food. What we loved most was the egg omelette. Super awesome. The other food were great too. Will come back here again next time.

Dishes are fine but not suitable for those that can't take spicy foods. Those that enjoy spicy foods will recommended. The dishes are well known of its spice and cendol is a must after meal. The services are fast but have to wait outside if there are too many peoples.

Serving of food are really fast (less than 5 minutes of wait), queuing for table to be seated are long if no advance booking. Overall the food are really delicious and spicy(if you love spicy) and deserve a thumbs up!
