Unable to book (tried to via WhatsApp but told to just walk in). Waited outside with other hopeful customers as told to do by the sign at the door. Empty tables visible. Ignored for 30mins then someone came and said the kitchen was now closed....Unprofessional, appalling customer service. Suggest you go elsewhere and save yourself the time.More

This is our 2nd time dining here, last in November 2018. We made a right decision despite weather was not permitted (raining). We walked from Casa Del Rio to Wild Coriander. This time, we ordered Beef Rendang, Rojak, Cendol, Sambal Udang, Okra with Sambal Udang...Kering, Salted Egg Layer Cake, Blue Pea Rice and Nasi Lemak. Beef rendang was so so good 😊... the meat very soft and tender. The sambal udang is also nice, but a bit spicy. The cake was so awesome, no words to describe! Hospitality and service was also Good especially Carlson. Keep it up 👍🏻!More

Everything recommended was delectable. It's a complete experience of authentic peranakan cuisine. The pandan layer cake is the best I ve ever tasted.

That’s how good the food is . It took me back to my childhood in Ceylon road in Singapore . My Grandmother in my dads side and family have a strong Melaka / Muar influence in cuisine and this just hit the spot with the...mee Siam . Looking forward to our second visit tonight on consecutive days . The dishes tasted like “ home cooked food “ and the decor felt so homely , warm and nostalgic. Moved by the experience and highly recommendedMore

The food is amazingly delicious, the staff were very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. We felt as if we were given a customized treatment from the moment we enter the restaurant until we leave. The view at the back of the restaurant is amazing...too. Love it. Come with someone special and you'll feel the magic of the restaurant even more.More

We were looking for something different for dinner and we got it. And we loved every bit of it. We tried their Wild Coriander Special Beef Randang, the dish comes with 3 different rice and bunch of sides, and the devil curry chicken Yes be...prepared to have that devilish spicy kick but its worth it. Ended the whole dinging process with a slice of local flavoured cake recommended by the staff. The decoration and ambiance is superb rustic and natural. All in all great experience.More

Excellent place for lunch and dinner. The food is a medium selection but the way they flavour their food? Flawless... so much care was done when you done there.. the food, the flavouring, the service too! My god the service was top notch, we gave...a good tip to him... don’t know his name but he behaves like a (Malay) supervisor. But wow, he’s the real deal! Up selling is good, he’s friendly and he was really paying attention to me and my boyfriend to match our energy when servicing us. I never had that much fun since forever. He’s probably the supervisor and he looks Malay to me. Well done man! But let’s not forget the food, the flavouring was phenomenal... the eggplant (Brinjal).. oh god I never see a restaurant who serves a whole eggplant.. flavouring was earthy like mushrooms, we tasted a hint of anchovies too... not sure about the rest but damn we couldn’t stop digging in the sauce.. Totally recommend this dish. The Pai Tee was surprisingly light... not like the usual one I ate at Chicken Rice shop lol... it’s crunchy but not enough to hurt my gums when I put a whole pai tee in my mouth... tasted yummy too... The main dish we ordered was definitely for sharing. Don’t eat it alone cuz it has 4 types of rice served with the rendang, some veggies on the side and phew the sambal... if ur not strong, don’t eat it.. it’s really spicy 😂. Flavouring is perfect on the rendang... we ordered the chicken one and wow the chicken was nicely tender and delicious! Great for sharing with 2 people. Finally.. the desert. We thought we wanted the cendol but then the supervisor looking guy (Wish I knew your name 😭) recommended us the cake... supposedly rare and can never be found elsewhere. So me and my boyfriend decided to try it and it didn’t disappoint. It was unique to say and they used pandan with salted eggs layered together. The taste was balanced, sweet and salty... delicious?... no... perfection... and they don’t sell this everyday too.. now we both know why 😂 Overall... an amazing place to go too when you come to Melaka... come here.. it’s worth it!More

Our Malaysian guide recommended this place, and it was definitely a good find. Friendly staff, and interesting menu. Pretty easy to go meat-free. The butterfly flower rice, sambal bendi (okra with sambal) and brinjal pajeri (aubergine in wonderful rich sauce) were all excellent. Drank local...('ish) Anchor beer to make a nice change from the ubiquitous Tiger brand. Nice space. We ate lots of good street food too in Malaysia, and obviously you can eat a lot cheaper than the 60RM (around £12 for two) that we spent here, but definitely recommend this eatery.More

We were walking around the Melaka River before our departure back to KL at noon. And we found this Wild Coriander's back door, it looks comfy outdoor and a waiter approached us. We were directed to sit indoor which was very cooling (considering the heat...outdoor) and comfy as well. It has some nice Nyonya portraits and decorations. My lady who doesn't really fancy spicy food ordered a chicken green curry with blue-coloured rice, and the green curry chicken was not too spicy for her. Meanwhile i ordered Mee Siam (spicy)~ Both tasted great, and it was definitely better than some other nyonya food that i had in the past few days. It concluded our Melaka trip with satisfaction!More

I believe it is pork free and I know alcohol is served. I am thinking it is perhaps not Halal, but there is contact information of their Facebook page as well as a website so maybe contact them. Great food there by the way.

Traditional Malaysia food - beef, lamb, chicken dishes. Two of us had 2 courses with lots of drinks for about £10. Excellent value and fab food.
