Found this place by accident and realised it’s by the same owner behind Lutan 21. The food here is quite affordable and towards Malaysian cuisine. Love the spicy noodles and fried bitters round with brown rice vermicelli. Friendly servers

Worth the visit if your in the area. Tried a nice Nyoman curry noodle dish. Had there dumplings which were fried should have had just boiled ones. Oh well. Also tried the red bean dessert,nothing special. Their other restaurants Lutan21, is better in my opinion.

Was impressed by the taste of the food from restaurant. The taste is absolutely different compare with others that I've visited previously. I'll definitely come back.

A few buddies of mine decided to dine @ Kuchabe Taman Desa branch in Kuala Lumpur. We were trying some new menu to us ala vegetarian. Surprisingly, the food tasted delicious & the kopi got oomph (the real kick in coffee taste). Must try the kampung styled fried rice & the pumpkin barley drink. Well worth our time to visit this outlet. Thumbs up 👍

As I seldom take vegetarian nor organic food, this restaurant has not let me down. When I stepped into it, it reminded me much of Vege Planet (a vegetarian restaurant in Melaka Raya). Infact, there is a connection! I recognised Louis at the counter, as he was from the previous restaurant. Parking space ample and the restaurant faces Terra Nova Hotel (across the main road).
Loved the mixed traditional and modern interior decos and table setting with some touches of olden days' stuff. Clean, high ceiling and cosy. I was admiring one side of the wall, neatly displayed used printing plates. I also loved the olden day wooden larders where they placed the extra bowls and accessories which the customers can help themselves.
Service was efficient although had one waiter and another at the the counter. Menu was given upon seated and customers will write their own orders. Food served was fast. I have tasted the Kuchabe Salted Tea (Lei Char) and the second visit, I ordered the Chincai. Its Tomyam Fried Rice. Food tasty and presentation good too. Loved the way they presented their food using chinese or baba nyonya tablewares. Feels at home too!!
Staff friendly and I will return again!

Restaurant with nice ambiance and unique decor with traditional dishes. Food taste is okay for me, however, it will be good choice for organic food lovers.

Hakka porridge is my top choice because the various side toppings to go along with the porridge was actually similar to those Teo Chew porridge. Natural flavour coming from the fresh ingredients are essentially bringing the ying&yang taste.

Love this place. Service was prompt and good. There was only one guy taking orders, serving tables and cleaning the tables but boy was he fast and efficient.
Food served was fresh and tasty. There was a good selection of food and drinks variety to suit everyone in our group of 6. The place was very clean and inviting. Decor was tasteful with an old world charm.

They serve good lei cha and wan tan mee in Melaka. Good food and environment. Even though we visit on the peak hour is quite pack, worth the wait.
