Recommended by a local to this cafe. Ordered 4 set of kaya & butter toasts, 6 eggs, 4 drinks and 1 nasi lemak costs RM23. Once you sit down, they will place a tray of 5 packets of nasi lemak and charge by how many packs you ate. Very old style! There is a noodle shop (located near the back)... More

I loved the Nyonya Laksa and Pai Tee very much. Recommend for breakfast. It is crowded during weekends.

Best breakfast I have had for a very long time. Their handmade noodles dry is very good too. But have to wait more than 30min.

A very local place for local breakfast. The curry laksa is only RM4.00. I don't think you can find this price anywhere in Malaysia. The pack nasi lemak was good. Must order roti bakar and half boil egg and local coffee. The coffee is not hot enough. Roti is good and i love the half boil eggs coz is really... More

Discovered this coffee shop as it is very near to our hotel. We loved the Wonton noodles and handmade dough noodle soup sold at a stall in the coffee shop instead of the stall selling kaya toast and coffee. To be honest, the toast is just okay and the coffee is pretty bad. Wonton noodles in Malacca is generally good... More

We visited this on the strength of comments about the coffee and kaya toast. Being somewhat of an addict to both, I turned up with high expectations. The toast arrived in thick slabs, which somewhat disappointed me. In Ipoh and Singapore, kaya toast arrives as lightly toasted, thin, mouthwatering slices of bread with a rich kaya filling. This was much... More

This place is a must-go whenever i'm back. If you like to have a feel of the coffee shop atmosphere in olden days, this is the place. This is one of the few shop which still practise the traditional way of toasting a bread -- charcoal grill. A butter kaya toast and a cup of coffee is a great way... More

Kaya, a bread spread (caramelized coconut egg jam), on toast is practically a national breakfast in Malaysia and Singapore since time in memorial. Combination of butter and kaya spreads is known locally in Melaka as kahwin. Siang Chiang is one of the authentic, heritage-feel kopitiams in Melaka. This place is very busy in the morning and getting a seat can... More
