We were a group of 6 who had gone to Malacca to buy the traditional Manek Nyonya beaded slippers in Jalan Tokong. The owner of the Manek Shop recommended Amy Heritage Nyonya Cuisine and we were not disappointed. Every dish we ordered was delicious -...our favourite was the appetizer, heart of the banana plant that was tossed with onions, dried shrimps, ginger flower and coconut milk. So refreshing!! We had the opportunity to chat with owner chef Amy who was very warm & friendly. Definitely looking forward to going back very soon to taste more of Amy's delicious Nyonya cuisine.More

Just mention the traditional cuisine of Baba and Nyonya, I definitely remember Amy Heritage Melaka Raya cuisine. I understand Untie the owner of this restaurant is still active as the main leader in the kitchen. That is why the cuisine is very unique and delicious....You can taste all kinds of authentic Baba & Nyonya cuisine and it is definitely halal. You should come try the culinary delights here.More

The food was acceptable, but it became unpalatable due to very rude foreign staff. Extremely rude and arrogant. I would never return to this place.

We thoroughly enjoyed the otak otak which has an authentic taste, would have been even better with the original ikan haruan instead of fish paste. The paitee was also excellent. We would certainly find our way back the next time we are in Melaka

Tried calling several times, lines were either engaged, or no one answered. Eventually managed to booked for 9 pax. Service was quite fast, price reasonable.m and it’s authentic peranakan food. We chose this because it’s one of the few peranakan place with no pork.

Went on Thursday 8pm and they were almost full. Had reserved beforehand, on Wed when I called they were full. This restaurant is small, only 1 shoplot, around 10-12tables. Service was good. We were immediately shown our table and given menus. Menu had nice explanation...of history of baba & Nyonya and also history of owner Amy. There were not that many dishes. My mum who has Nyonya blood, was quite sceptical and felt that the food should be so-so only.. she had previously been to another restaurant starting with “N” and did not find it anything special, she thought it would be the same. After quite a long time waiting, we were served the fish maw soup. Looks wise, it was just a clear soup with a lot of vege.. so every one thought.. hmm boring clear soup. But upon tasting, the flavors just burst out. And we were all surprised. So we looked forward to the other dishes. The otah looked ordinary and my mum said that this is the commercial type, can buy anywhere. I unwrapped it and it did look ordinary. Upon tasting, found that it was really fine and had great fragrance! Then came the tau foo and the fried chicken wings. You can tell both were you made with care - chicken should be fresh chicken wings (not frozen) and tau foo cubes were crispy in outside and still moist on the inside. Chap chai was the real surprise, instead of the normal boiled and bland tasting type, it was darker sauce and really flavorful. Can not describe, you have to try it!! Lastly, the chendol really brought us back to old days, gula Melaka was the “real” type, salty and sweet, coconut had the fragrance! Wowed us! Only thing missing for my dad was red beans, but the rest of us were really happy with the entire meal! Will be back!More

Four of us dine there on 10th Nov 2019. First serving was the kueh pie tee which was delicious. Then comes the disappointment. The chap chai was tasteless. The otah is just a fish cake with otah paste. Sambal kang kong was too salty. The...chendol has no red beans.More

A friend in our group brought us here, so I had no expectations of what to expect. Since we were in a large group, we ordered quite a number of dishes to share. In this way, we manged to try a large sele tion of...the menu and I must say, everything was great and some were just fantastic. If I visit Melaka again, I'll definately be back hereMore

Enjoyed the nonya food here, in particular The Chicken in (rendang like) sauce, fried chicken wings, lady's fingers with chili, fish maw soup. We went at 7pm, on a weekday and managed to get seats.
