We did our laundry near to the restoran and meanwhile we where waiting our clothes we jumped in to eat the lunch and that was a great discovery! There is so many choises for vegans and vegetarians. I was looking for an Indonesian/Malay food that is clean ( no cats ) and have lots of variety of dishes and I found one. If you can't locate it .. just look for Novotel hotel which is a stone throw away. The ikan bakar...( grilled fish ) is yummy and so are the other dishes like sambal squids, asam pedas, lemak and so on. Staffs are ok . Luckily for me I came during off lunch hours which is almost 2pm and the crowd wasnt as much as it's during lunch time.More
Was there about 11:30 and manage to call the last roti. We could not decide what to eat on the shelf as there are so many variety and the kitchen kept coming out with more. Crowd begins to form so we knew we are in...the right place. Food did not disappoint us as the curry chicken is so tender and sotong is yummy. We eventually paid RM$30 for 4 roti, 2 full plate of rice and food， 4 drinks. Great! The young manager needs to be commented as he told me frankly that the lontong is not hot when I wanted to order. For honesty and integrity, I will come back again. !More
This is indonesian restaurant in melacca. Staff mostly indonesian. They have alot of ready cook foods on table. Freshly cooked every morning and run out fast. The food is cheap and yummy. Will definetely come back again.

Great spread of Malay food. The grilled sambal stingray is excellent. Squid, chicken, fish, you name it, it's there. Order your grilled fish from the guy manning the counter, pile the food on your plate and proceed to the table. The waiter will come by...to take your drink order and tote up the cost. It's inexpensive. We make a point to stop here every time we are in Malacca. Open throughout the day, but closes fairly early in the evening.More
We were looking for a halal baba nyonya food (peranakan food), and most people would reccomend this restaurant, and the food was great. We loved what we had, the Sambal Udang (spicy prawn) was excellent, as well as the Kangkog Belacan. Price is reasonable too....The taxi driver who drove us there did mention, the restaurant is not always open on regular hours, there are days when they just closed for unknown reason, you might want to try to stop by when you do see the open sign, just incase they are not open the next time you wish to try their food.More
