I had breakfast in Kaya Kaya a couple of times and I really loved it. They serve amazing pancakes! The cafe has a lovely decor and the guy working there is always nice and very welcoming.

The kaya butter toast is accompanied with delicious kaya and butter. Smells good. The coffee has 3 colors. Taste just nice, not too sweet.

Very hip modern café, with a great variety of tasty breakfasts, lunch dishes, dinner and a range of special coffees and cakes, all of good quality. The guy that served us two times, Yeou Qua, is extremely nice and helpful. The best part of the...More

French toast with coconut ice cream and blue berries jam. Taste good! But their signature kaya-kaya ice coffee & baba coffee is a bit too sweet, you might request less sugar. Telur Masin with toast not bad.

I went to kaya kaya for an afternoon break and I loved it. I only had a coffee which actually tasted really good but the best part was the place itself: I sat in the backyard which is covered of murals and it is just...More

We stopped by for breakfast and weren't dissapointed. A little pricey compared to some other places but good food cooked fresh. I highly recommend the mushroom omelette. Nice setting overall.

Great coffee and the "sour sop" cheesecake is lovely too...was a bit sceptic at first but tastes great. Also tried the aubergine dish with toast, also very nice. Was sitting a whole afternoon there eating and drinking and working on my laptop...nice relaxed environment to...More

Great place for coffee / food just a street away from Jonker Walk. Environment is great. Coffee was aromatic but a bit on the pricey end. As the environment was quite dark, there were mosquitoes though. Will return to try other food on the menu...More

Description
The name of Kaya-kaya Cafe comes from a local spread known as “kaya”. It is generally rich in flavor and thick in texture. As such, our menu is created using the two keywords – richness and thickness. Our key vision is to promote more local specialties to foreigners. We elaborately design our fusion menu using our own local ingredients, such as salted egg chicken and sambal prawn, to serve with pasta. We serve food with kaya as well. Unlike the usual kaya that can be found everywhere, our kaya is especially homemade with duck eggs and Malacca sugar. One of the signature dishes that are served with kaya is “Malacca Elvis”; a pancake stack with sliced banana and kaya sandwiched in between, drizzled with homemade chocolate and peanut butter sauce. We also serve traditional dishes like “Yin Yong Toast” with kaya and butter and “Kaya Cheese Toast”.
