This place is a gem. The management and staff was courteous and efficient, the food was outstanding, and the drinks and wine were delicious. After eating Indonesian and Malaysian food for the last 2 months, this great Spanish tapas place was just what we needed. Sangria is good, as are the tapas and mixed plates of jamon y queso. You order online from your table, and service is fast....This is definitely pricier than street food, but so worth a stop if you need a local food respite.More

We reserved in advance for our anniversary dinner after seeing the positive reviews on TripAdvisor. Arrived and was ushered to the farthest secluded spot in the restaurant. Menus to be ordered via a QR code, quite understandable in today’s staffing situation. However, everything went downhill...from that point onwards. The wine we wanted that was on the menu was not available. The tapas portioning was less than desirable, bread service non existent and there was hardly anyone upstairs to look after the guests. For the same price, we could get much better in KL. Disappointed with the service and food.More
Nice atmosphere! Amazing experience here in Salud~ we were hostess by Millas that absolute professional. Food was phenomenal. Authentic Spanish deliciousness! Love the black Paella, iberico pork was awesome. Will definitely visit again when I go to Melaka!
Lovely tapas bar with genuine Spanish fare including Jamon Iberico on the bone and a range of well looked after Spanish wines. Excellent service. Very highly recommended, but just a little expensive. Just off Jonker Walk so lively, but not so lively you cant get...in!More
We had a fun time at Salud Tapas on a weeknight. Head chef and boss Breogán was charming and made us feel welcome. His staff Mervyn was obliging and helpful too. They took good care of us, especially since we were out-of-towners. The food and...drinks were highly appetising (seafood paella, Mediterranean salad, virgin mojito and Salud mocktail) - the entire team had put a lot of thought into making the experience good. The decor of the restaurant was bold and beautiful, complementing the cuisine. Now I understand why a friendly fellow diner told us that he would always drop in on Salud whenever he was in town. Went there with my wife and all the food we ordered was excellent. Strong flavours and delivered very quickly. Good portions and the Margueritas complimented the meal nicely.
Went back after a 2.5 year break , due to the pandemic. Pleasantly .surprised that the restaurant , staff, food quality has not changed one bit. Shortlisted this restaurant after reading many positive reviews… but honestly, I’ve had better Spanish food elsewhere, albeit not in Melaka. The seafood was not the freshest, squid ink paella was a miss… Once is enough
Very tasty tapas. glad to be able to enjoy a nice dinner while traveling in Malacca. very pretty restaurant too.It is at a street which is not crowded but just next to Jonker. Such a gem.
