This restaurant is highly rated for a reason. Definitely try the big mango lassi, so delicious and cool! As we couldn't decide we ordered all of the vegetarian dishes and some yellow biryani rice as well as some plain naan and a cheese naan. 6 large mango lassi, 3 plain naan, 2 yellow biryani rice, one cheese naan, and six vegetarian dishes came to RM143 ~£30 ~$45CAD Highly recommend!

We ate here a couple of times during our stay in Melaka. Both times, we gorged out on the tandoori chicken and naan. We echo previous reviews that the naans are great and so is the chicken. The restaurant's owner was very helpful in assisting us make our selection of dishes, making recommendations and in instructing his staff about our choice of spici-ness. The service is fast and efficient. We were happy with our first meal and returned for a second.

Its a Mamak joint (Halal Indian Muslim) that specialises in naan bread, tandoori chicken and mango lassi. Popular by the size of the crowd. Mango lassi is a tad expensive for the size (medium mug).

This restaurant is just great in name because it tastes too simple and too creamy. I have tried and do not need to come again because it feels too bland compared to Pakistani restaurants in Kuala Lumpur. Probably because it is the only Pakistani restaurant in Melaka. If the owner of this restaurant notices he needs to come to Kuala Lumpur and taste for himself the cuisine of Pakistani restaurants here and make changes for his restaurant. It is not worth it to have to queue for food like this.

Was very excited to come try again after 3 years. Ordered the classic cheese naan but was very dissappointed. There was barely any cheese (we had to go digging the bread to find the little that was inside). When we complained, we were told that we should have ordered the 'tripple cheese naan' if we really wanted to 'taste' the cheese. Years ago, such was not the case.

We had such a surprise when the food orders came to our table. Firstly, the place not only serves naan through they are reknown for their large, soft fluffy breads. The curries in general are quite savoury so be prepared to inform them if you prefer a milder dish. We had an early dinner and could barely finish the 3 naans we ordered. The tandoori chicken is a must have when visiting so best to come in a group to enjoy more variety!

We were quite critical with the claim but it turned out to be true. The chicken was tender, fresh, marinated just nice with a hint of spiciness and smokiness (ok, can be quite spicy if you don't eat chilly). We each ordered the 2nd portion for ourselves. The garlic nan was solf, fluffy and went well with the chicken and the curry sauce. A must try!

This was a great find. I loved the Indian food here, particularly the tandoori chicken and the wide range of naan breads available. Local spices were also represented in all their fiery glory, Melakan cuisine being known for its heat. As i operate under the maxim,'the spicier the better', this was great for me.

We went here on our first night in Melaka, we were glad we did. As we walked to the restaurant I could see it was quite busy, filled by locals from what I could tell, and that's always got to be a good sign. We chose a couple of dishes which were both good but the stand out for me (as it often is) was the Kashmiri naan. Bill for both of us was 65RM, we couldn't have eaten another thing.

What makes this eatery so popular? Perhaps its the quick service and the predictable menu-ed pricing, choice and assurance that the taste would not go wrong. Perhaps there are not many eateries offering similar fare that they rank as “best” among the scarce lot. It’s passable.

This place had lots of good reviews on Google and it did not disappoint. Arrived and it was busy with a slight wait on tables but we were seated quickly. Menu isn’t huge but what they have on offer is delicious. Great tasting chicken tandoor and soft freshly baked naan’s. The staff were friendly and attentive and let us come and watch how the tandoor is used and how they make naan breads. Not many western tourists here so it seems to be a place popular with the locals. The chicken was good quality and cooked well and we had seconds. The mango lassi was huge and very tasty. Definitely recommend here if you want no nonsense food with a good authentic taste. Just a note - They are halal and do not serve alcohol but they have a wide range of soft beverages to choose from.

This restaurant was recommended by our taxi driver on the way from the bus station he said it did the best tandoori chicken and naan bread. He wasn’t wrong we had an amazing meal tandoori chicken was so tender the naan bread was beautiful and the chicken liver masala was one of the best I’ve had. 4 of us ate for 129 RM.

Had mixed feelings about coming here for dinner but we left very satisfied. The dining area is literally in a quiet car park and the food served outside of the building shopfront. We ordered the tandoori chicken, Dahl and a roti each. The tandoori was the juiciest and most tender tandoori I’ve ever eaten. The mint sauce accompaniement was also a hit and the Dahl was packed with flavour for our roti. Both the tandoori and the roti was constantly being cooked so you could tell it was fresh and the place was full the whole time we were there. I think our bill came to about $14 aud.

We arrived early at 5.20pm and many of the outdoor tables were already taken. I really wanted to love this place, but personally I found it would be great value for money, but it didn't really live up to all the hype I had read in the reviews. We ordered both the breast and leg of the tandoori chicken, plus two garlic naan and an orange and watermelon juice. The chicken was good, green sauce had a kick to it, but our naan was thick, felt undercooked and was doughy... not sure how to describe it otherwise. Maybe we just picked the wrong naan bread, but I had definitely tasted better. Service was great, and the food came out relatively fast, but given all the hype, I was let down a bit. More probably at 3.5 out of 5.
