After finish eating my dinner here I went to the toilet and I saw they recycle the bamboo stick .. I was like 🤢! It was so unhygienic. Honestly the satay sauce was too sweet to my liking ..

In Malacca, besides hunting for Nyonya Food & Chicken Rice Balls, the other must eat will be Satay Celup. No trip will be complete without trying their signature dishes. Given its popularity, many locals as well as tourists flocked to Restoran Capitol Satay and they are...More

This place is just average, certainly overhyped. Thinking back, it is ridiculous to queue more than half an hour for a table, and while the experience is "new" celuping (dipping) food into satay sauce instead of clear broth, overall the food is just average and...More

In my humble opinion, I feel this place is overhyped. Malaysians are familiar with Lok Lok that are sold in trucks at various locations. What this shop offers is a Lok Lok with a twist. Dipped into a spicy satay sauce. The average wait for...More

Satay celup means dip in satay, not grill as usual. We queue on the street outside this small satay house for about 30 mins to get a table. With 2 young kids feel like forever... They have spread of food in skewers and some in...More

First off, this place is expensive compared to other Satay Celup outlets. The taste is a tad too spicy and not sweet. This my first and last time coming here. An over hyped restaurant.

Something unique to try n Melaka. Price and food is decent. And ambient is really crowded and noisy. But overall satisfactory experience.

Just have a try for my supper and noticed the price is reasonable. However, it was weekend and you need to queue.

Great satay hotpot with delicious skewers! The satay sauce was just nice for me! But it could be hard to handle for people who do not take any bit of spicy ness. This place opens at 4pm and if you reach slightly around 4.45 the...More
