I really enjoy eating lunch here. While you can eat in, I prefer to pick up. Service can be a little slow, but the food is consistently good. I generally order the jerk chicken with greens and plantains. I'd recommend.

I was in Montgomery for work and found this place while searching for good food. I was excited about getting suya (even though they were out when I got there so I didn't get any) but I was able to get my husband two different...More

We had the grilled tilapia - one with a tomato based sauce and the other with sautéed with onions and peppers. Both were delicious. The sides were good also - cabbage, plantains, Mac-n-cheese, and beans. Next time we're in town, we'll try it again.

We had the Suya, Goat Curry and the Jerk Pulled Pork sandwich. All have great flavor. Plenty of food for the price. We took home over half of the food because we were full. I personally struggle with African food because I do not like...More

Nothing fancy bout this place. Your classic “ hole in the wall” that you’ll be glad you found. My regulars are the Curry or Jerk Chicken with 2 sides. Several types of rice, that are all delicious, and the plantains are my go to. The...More

I really enjoyed the Curry Goat. Don't be afraid!! Ordered the Chicken but they were out.."upgraded" me to the goat at no xtra charge. Everything is spiced up and flavored nicely. Give it a try. Nice little hole in the wall type of place.

We tried the jerk chicken. It was perfectly grilled. Somewhat spicy but wonderful seasoning. Plantains and rice rounded out the meal. Perfect gluten free option. Quick service, simple venue, good value.
