So sorry Jimmy is closed. It was a every Sunday lunch after Church . Meals were very good and reasonable priced. The best gumbo I have ever eaten.

Jimmy's is one of our favorite places. Meals at night are very different from Sunday lunch which is served family style. The seafood gumbo is always excellent and bread pudding for dessert is the finishing touch. The service and atmosphere is hard to beat!
Nice cozy place near railroad tracks. I had the special. Fried chicken, squash casserole, green beans, cheesy potatoes, peas. And the bread OH the bread. Rolls and cornbread. If you eat all a side you can get more. Awesome waitress and the sweet owners went to...More
My wife and I went here for our lunch the other day, because we had heard good things about it. We were very pleased at our selection. Both of us had shrimp and grits. There were about half a dozen good sized shrimp in the...More
We got there too early, but they let us come in and sit. We were offered a drink while waiting. The rolls and salad were amazing. My husband got a crab dish that had very little bread which is usually a comment we have about...More

If you want larger portions, go somewhere else. Their food hits the spot and you leave feeling refreshed, not bloated and heavy. Service and food was great from the bread (BTW Jimmy's people, try Kerrygold butter instead of Land o Lakes- amazingly better!) to the...More
Had the lunch at Jimmy's with a group. I felt the portions skimpy ( 6 small)and my shrimp was a little tough. Seasoning was less than I expected as I had heard raves about the food. Salad was crisp and the fried green tomatoes delicious....More
