We met friends for dinner at the Irish Bred Pub in Opelika, Alabama on our trip back from the Smoky Mountains. The food was very good and our Shamrock drinks were delicious. Our waitress could not have been better. She was excellent. We enjoyed the atmosphere and we arrived before the supper crowd arrived. We will definitely dine there again... More

My daughter and I went to this restaurant to have dinner. There was no room to wait and there wasn't that many people waiting only one other couple. It took them 45 minutes to sit us. So we stood around for 45 minutes there was no room at the bar there was no extra seats outside nothing. The food was... More

Basically a hamburger joint rarely serves Irish food which was a disappointment. I was wanting shepherd pie but all I saw on menu was a lunch menu and just overpriced hamburgers

Always a treat and never a disappointment! We art dinner early and our server was great. My wife and son had their favorite, Shrimp and grits with the house salad. I had blackened salmon on a bed of sautéed spinach with a house salad. We were all very pleased and delighted to be back for a visit😃😃

My wife and I were travelling through on a week long drive down to the south and back to Ontario and on trips like this we search out interesting pubs and craft breweries to have dinner in. We felt like we were in Nawlins. The streetscape was very similar. The food was good and beer as well although they had... More

You have to try the Maytag Chips! Met my husband there on our first date😀. Railroad tracks nearby so when a train rolls by be sure to yell, "TRAIN SHOTS!" for a shot of something.

Visited this place two days in a row, food was so good the first time we all went back again. The beef sandwich, salads, salmon sandwich - all delicious. We sat outside upstairs the first night and outside downstairs the second night. Nice waitress and waiters, always attentive and courteous. Definitely a place to eat when you are downtown Opelika.

The pub has a fun atmosphere, good food but it takes some time to eat here. They offer a meat and three for lunch that is really good but if you only get a half an hour or on a time crunch you will never make it. We eat here about once every month and the service is always good... More

We had dinner tonight at the Irish Brew pub and found it to be very disappointing. We were seated and waited about 15 minutes for a server. We had the Shepard's pie and it was only fair. We then split the bread pudding. Once again we had a rather long wait and that was very disappointing. It was barely lukewarm.... More

Thank you for letting me know about your poor experience this past Friday night. This is very concerning to hear as we work hard to provide great food and prompt service. Obviously we failed to deliver either of those to you on Friday, and I am sincerely sorry for our shortcomings. I would like to invite you to give us... More

We were so excited to find an Irish Pub available to us when we were traveling through the area. I Wish we had not found it at all! The Fish N Chips were total mush and strange tasting, and while tasty, the Crab Boxty was full of shell pieces. Both the Shepherd's pie and the Guinness Beef Stew were so... More

We've been serving the Opelika area for quite some time now, DeeDee, and the reviews about us are genuine. I'm sorry that your meal was not up to your expectations, and I hope you mentioned this to your bartender or a manager. We work hard to resolve any issues you bring to our attention so that you can have a... More
