Very decent, fresh food in a good location. Good guacamole, decent soup and fair prices. Very nice staff who speak English

We enjoyed soup and sandwiches with a side salad. The vegetable soup was great, the mushroom beef soup was okay. The sesame tofu sandwich and chicken avocado sandwiches were good but nothing to write home about. The salad greens were amazing and we would return...More

Urban Soup Kitchen is developing a nice niche of good food for basic prices as an alternative solution. Also a fun space to sit in, quick service. Enjoyed a chicken and avocado sandwich along with pumpkin soup. Would definitely go to Urban Soup Kitchens again....More

The refurbishment of a block of old shikumen into a
carless entertainment center called Xintiandi, filled
with restaurants, shops and bars, turned this area

fashionable areas. Luxe condos house people who can
afford the high-end brands that fill the malls and
