Having eaten dinner here before, I know that I will get fast service when there isn't a crowd. Ate here again earlier this week, set menu. Night view of Pudong across the river is great.

You can test a perfect Japanese Sushi/Sashimi in a confortable atmosphere made on Japanese style. It's quite expensive but I never found GOOD Japanese food cheaper....

Mediocre chefs, mediocre waiters. Expensive and pretentious. Some dishes never came even after we ordered them more than two times. Avoid this place!!

My husband and I went to Miyabi for a light dinner while staying at the Sheraton Hongkou. The restaurant is beautiful and the views are outstanding. It's very pricy, but we expected as much. The service was fine although there were only 2 other people in the whole restaurant when we were there. We ordered the maki rolls (soft crab... More

After getting excited in both English and Chinese, and standing on top of the teppinyaki chef, we FINALLY got some of our entrees. There was a terrible lack of management and obviously no system of service. Our host of our dinner party actually called down to the Sheratons front desk to demand the GM come up to help us. In... Staying in Hongkou

Neighbourhood Profile
Hongkou
History oozes out of every fiber of the city, but Hongkou is a particularly notable neighborhood. Shanghai was a safe haven for about 20,000 Jews during the Second World War, and traces of this heritage can still be found in buildings and park monuments. Historic foreign relations aside, this neighborhood throws you into traditional Shanghainese life without taking you too far away from the city center. Some of the city’s best-preserved, ancient longtangs (laneway communities) and shikumen (Shanghainese lanehouses) are still in use as actual residences here. If you like to be surrounded by local faces, Hongkou is a great area to spend your time in. The football stadium, Duolun Lu and the North Bund area await should you need some entertainment.
