Manager Charles does a brilliant job here, very good with people and unusual for Shanghai in that the same staff are still here 5 months after my first visit. I love the 4 hour daily happy hour where all wines by glass are half price, the midweek set lunches are great value for money and it changes every week and... More

I have been to several of the Enoterra's in town, and while this has a bit more of a cafe feel than some of the older locations, it is quite nice and the service was very friendly. Wine selection is quite good, and while I havent eaten many of the items on the menu most that I have tried are... More

Enoterra on Jiaozhou Lu has become one of our favorites after we moved to the area. I love their cheese plate, their weekend brunches (especially the "Enoterra brunch" selection) and their long Happy Hour.

A friendly welcome helps this restaurant stand out. Frequent specials, happy hour till 8pm are also very welcome. The sweet goats cheese salad was delicious and the smoked salmon platter a good size too. Nice ambiance that wasn't really spoiled by the loud swearing drunk Chinese woman either. I can see why this place wins awards!

I read some comments on this restaurant. Honestly, people are very friendly, the food is very good, my children loved and they have a very fine taste. Price of the wine is ok. It deserves an excellent note, especially when I compare with others.

I only came in because of the very friendly Spanish manager who was at the entrance and explained their value for money weekend brunch offer. At first glance felt a bit dirty and worn, with the usual group of frenchies puffing away on stinkey cigarettes making it more like a Marseilles bar than a Shanghai restaurant. 8 wines by glass,... The venue is good for friends gathering, relax and taking. I had few glasses of wine and snacks sharing with my friends, the atmosphere is very casual but the best. A good wine selections from European old vineyards, prices are quite reasonable, I got offered a tasting before decide which one to drink, a nice touch.

I suppose this establishment is meant more for those who would like to sit in a quiet, relaxed wine bar which has a nice ambience, and enjoy a glass of wine and some small dishes, rather than a full course meal. The food is excellent, and we had bruschetta, salmon and french fries with a couple of glasses of very... More

The bill doesn't worth the moment... - As a wine amator, I'm really disappointed. The price of the glass is really expensive and the quantity in your glass is ridiculous compared to other wine restaurants. The glass of white wine is not at the good temperature. Really pricy for the glass. - I ordered the Beef burger which was ok,... More

Staying in Jing'an

Neighbourhood Profile
The heart of this neighborhood is the Jing'an Temple, while the main artery of excitement and entertainment is West Nanjing Road. Close to the Former French Concession, the area has a similar draw for foreign residents but displays a more commercial character. Large, flashy malls, luxe residential high-rises and trendy nightlife areas can be found along West Nanjing Road, but areas off the busy street have the same quiet cafes and independent boutiques that many people think of as distinctive of the Former French Concession. Jing'an is less encased in amber, though, and it's possible to immerse yourself more fully in the energy of China's most bustling metropolis here.
