Went for dinner on wife's birthday...have to say this place has lost its charm, food & quality. Ordered draft beer...it had gone completely flat (no fizz), shrimp pan cake was very chewy...didn't feel like eating a shrimp. Chicken in Green curry dish, was smelly. This used to be my favorite restaurant in Shanghai for last few years...sad to see its... More

I've eaten here many times, the service and food are consistent. It is rather dark inside, but that is the atmosphere. I believe there are better Thai options in Shanghai; however this is conveniently located in Thumb Plaza, in my opinion, the ONLY decent restaurant in Thumb Plaza.

The Thai food here are not as good as what we wished for even though the chef is a Thai. There is only a few dishes that we will say is good but most taste had being changed to suit the taste of the local.

I'm always a little worried by Thai food because of spiciness but this place amazed me with their dishes, spicy but not too much and super tasty. A must go if you stay at the Radisson.

Wow I love this place! First off I love Thai food above all else. Second, this is a great Thai restaurant. Papaya salad is a must-have. I stay at near-by hotels during various expos and always delight in this excellent dining experience!

Looks like the old style continues. Getting any service was tough call. I selected Kung Pao chicken and it was OK but not really in the level I have had in Thai restaurants elsewhere. Food was served warm unlike some others have experienced. Restaurant location and setting is way above the rest of their capabilities and that was important piece... More

The ambiance of the restaurant is quite nice, however that's it already. Food and service are disappointing. Whatever the cuisine is - it's not authentic Thai. The Papaya salad was still just ok, but the rest was disappointing. Vegetable curries were by far too rich, with some additional toppings which don't fit. Deep fried chicken was too fat and cold.... Stopped for lunch and had some very good food. If you love Thai food, I would suggest you try this restaurant. I was pleasantly surprised by the level of spice as well. Also had some nice outside seating.

The food was ok but cold in the main especially as like the majority of China they don’t know how to warm the plates. but the servings were cold anyway. The table next to us had a hot pot type of soup but they did not light the candle underneath it and they ended up returning it to be reheated.... More

Staying in Century Park

Neighbourhood Profile
Century Park
Shanghai residents see Pudong’s suburbs as the place that grown-ups retreat to when they’re ready to settle down and stop living in the cramped confines of a refurbished lanehouse. The areas around Century Park are some of the most desirable as they are in close proximity to the Metro Lines, granting easy access to the heart of Puxi. The park itself is a huge draw, it’s one of Shanghai’s biggest and there are sports fields tucked into one of its corners, but five-star hotels, museums and great malls make life in the Century Park area easy for the homesick foreigner. And if living in a Western bubble in China isn’t your thing, there is plenty of local flavor to be had in between the major development. Some of Lujiazui’s futurism can also be seen in buildings and sculptures throughout the neighborhood as well.
