Definitely worth a trip to this rustic cabin. Quite an extensive menu of beef, pork, fish, etc and nicely cooked. Had the ribeye steak, colleagues had shrimp and grits, and pork chops. All cooked perfectly. Full service ball too.

Staying overnight in Selma on our way to Ft Worth. Wanted something for dinner other than barbecue or fast food. Found this place on TripAdvisor and decided to try it. My wife had a rib eye and I had shrimp and chicken dish. Both were...More
Went in for a business trip with clients. I was looking forward to a nice hunk o' beef. To be honest I was surprised as this was touted as the go to Steakhouse for Selma, AL. Maybe I am spoiled by my geographic homestead, being...More
I haven't visited the Tally Ho in approximately 8 years, but it was great then and great now. The atmosphere is great except for one very noisy child, which was not the restaurant's fault. The steaks we had were cooked as ordered and delicious. Best...More
We stumbled upon this incredible place quite by accident. In Selma for an estate sale we hosted. Charming town. This family owned establishment is just divine. Service and food top notch! Oysters perfect. High marks!
I have enjoyed dinner at Tally Ho twice on my travels to Selma. Both visits were very good. I suggest the fish choices or Prime Rib. The zucchini muffins are not to be missed!
The cabin style was unique and the hospitality was wonderful. Food was okay, not many options in the evening for a sit down dinner.
Only six people in the restaurant, seven counting me. This should have been a sign. Ordered prime rib, medium rare, came out cooked well and had grill marks on both sides. Never seen grill marks on a prime rib before. Service was good. I do...More
The Tally Ho is the best of all worlds. It's my ideal. Wonderful steak restaurant in the front and a real honky tonk in the back. What more could you desire?
Very personable and friendly staff. They took me on a history tour of the restaurant, quite interesting experience. Great ambience.
