We were wandering around looking for somewhere to grab a bite to eat. We just happened to find this little gem. The sandwiches were on huge buns and the breeze on the front porch finished the mood . There was a steady flow of people coming in to pick up take-out orders too, busy place. Definitely would recommend ! !... More

At Bellingrath gardens. We had the chicken salad, which was good, not outstanding. The staff was extremely nice and made our visit most pleasant. Reasonable prices.

The only things on the menu were ham, turkey or blt sandwiches, beef vegetable soup and your average disappointing salad bar.

Our lunch after the garden tour and home tour was delicious! It tasted very homemade and yummy! Not too many choices to confuse me either!

This café was a pleasant and unexpected find. We were there on a Sunday morning on the way home from Dauphin Island. I chose the bean and ham soup and a chicken salad sandwich, while my wife had tomato Florentine soup and a half of a club sandwich. Everything was very tasty. The staff is quite friendly, and we conversed... More

The cafe is near the entrance to the gardens and you should plan on eating before buying your tickets. Our party of four sampled a variety of items. My wife and I had the shrimp trio which consisted of shrimp, broccoli, and (canned?) peaches. Our friends each had excellent sandwiches with what appeared to be homemade bread. The shrimp and... Hearty salad plates. I got the 3 salad plate with chicken salad, broccoli salad, & waldorf salad. Spouse got the shrimp salad, with broccoli salad, & waldorf salad. All very fresh, delicious, & filling. Also got the broccoli cheese soup & the minestrone soup. Price was decent, cafe clean, quiet, with nice view of courtyard. Staff friendly.

Cafeteria style, lunch/dinner special each day. Pretty good food, but it is still cafeteria style. Friendly staff, comfortable dining room, hot tasty food. They do have sandwiches.

Food was good, but prices were a little high, staff was pleasant. The tables were clean as was the silverware. A pleasant dining experience.

We stopped at the cafe for lunch after a 2 hour meander through the gardens. It was clean and spacious, and the staff were business-like but friendly. The food was pretty basic but good-tasting: sandwiches, soups, a salad bar, and desserts...with Coka-Cola products, of course, since Mr. Bellingrath was the first CC bottler in Mobile! The cafe is a nice... More
