I fell in love with Peruvian Food

This was legitimately some of the best food my sister (both vegan) and I have had in our lives. The family who runs it is so sweet, and the vegan options are OUT OF THIS WORLD. I cannot oversell this place- we went two night...in a row and brought our non-vegan friends from the hostel and they all agreed - vegan or not, it’s incredible food. We all rate it a 10/10. I wish they would move to my city, it’s honestly that good.More

Lo MEJOR!

The best meal of our vacation - everyone so happy with their meal - and Chef Martin is THE BEST! We ate here on last year's trip, and we returned - of course. I ordered the same dish: Arroz verde con Mariscos. (I'd been dreaming...about it since last time.) Martin - so cool & friendly - showed me how to cook it back in his kitchen...no kidding! DO NOT MISS THIS PLACE - you will love it in so many ways.More

Great Peruvian-Chinese fare

So much variety! They were super nice and even the vegans in our group were happy! The family owns and operates it and the food was delicious! We had a table of 10 people and every went home full and happy!

loved it

We LOVED this place!! I got the vegetarian tacu tacu and the macchu picchu drink. both were amazing. all my friends and i were so happy with everything we ordered, and the staff was so friendly. Would definitely come back!!!

Best food in La Fortuna

The food is amazing! The green rice and Aji de pollo is amazing. Everything we tried was amazing. We ate here twice.

Peruvian Fusion in Costa Rica

The food was delicious and corresponding good presentation. We are vegetarian and there was plenty to choose from. The fusion cuisine was to the tastebuds what the nature of Arenal is to the eyes.

Love it.

Such a wonderful, delicious, friendly experience. Some of the best food we’ve had on our trip yet. We had the ceviche, the beef skewers and the pineapple chicken. All fabulous.

Superb, delicious meals!

We enjoyed an excellent Peruvian meal. The portions were generous. It’s a friendly family run restaurant. I had a wonderful seafood dish with an amazing sauce and fried spinach garnish. My husband had a cilantro rice with shrimp. The spices and flavor were amazing!

Excellent Peruvian Meal while in La Fortuna

We had the most amazing lunch here! We took the recommendations from the owner, Martin, who went above and beyond spending time explaining the dishes. The Peruvian dishes we ordered were exactly as described with so much flavor, absolutely outstanding meal with even better customer...service. Martin even spent time explaining the culinary process of the dishes, a true chef. Definitely visit here for lunch or dinner while in La Fortuna, a hidden gem!More

Surprisingly good

This was kind of a rest stop in La Fortuna on a tour. It was very tipico but we had the best langoustines - amazing meal - service was, as all over Costa Rica., excellent.

Plate Licking Deliciousness

We were a party of 3 couples and were the first group to dinner. The chef welcomed us & helped select 6 dishes to share, plus wonton appetizer. The sauce on the wontons was amazing. The flavors & sauces in all 6 plates were unique,...diverse & delicious. By the time we left, the restaurant was packed, and a line had formed. Don't miss trying this hospitable and talented chef's culinary delights!More

Best meal in Costa Rica

This was by far the best meal my friend and I had during our two-week trip to Costa Rica. We shared the tacu tacu vegetariano and the kam lu wantan vegetariano. But the trick with this place is to talk to the chef about your...likes/dislikes and any dietary restrictions, then order whatever he suggests. That’s what we did and we were not disappointed! We ordered completely different meals than what we were looking at, and we were glad we did. Do yourself a favour and stop by this gem if you’re in La Fortuna.More
