Stopped in for lunch on the way to Liberia. Sandwiches and casada were very good and they would have gotten a 5 but when I find hairs in my drinks it wrecks everything. They did replace the drink but staff need to wear hair nets please.

Perfect for a stop on the way from La Fortuna to Monteverde. Nice view of Lake Arenal. Had an excellent cup of coffee with huge choclate macadamia cookie. Outdoor floor is covered with macadamia nut shells. Rustic looking cafe.

Our guide recommended this restaurant and we enjoyed it so much. Delicious sandwich on amazing bread and a refreshing fruit smoothie. Great flavor and such a beautiful view of the lake. We shared a fantastic piece of banana macadamia cake. Beautiful desserts.

A true Gem of a place. We stopped for sandwiches. The sandwiches were great, particularly the home-baked bread. We ended up buying a couple of the rolls to take home with us. A great view.

As you walk in you get a whiff of freshly baked cakes. Highly recommend the freshly baked chocolate macadamia nut cookies. Artisan bakery with the added bonus of a great view.

We were doing a transfer from La Fortuna to Liberia and we stopped at this quaint place along the way for a break to use the washrooms. I instantly fell in love with this beauty! It's a bake shop, restaurant, souvenir shop and juice bar all in one. My husband got a chicken sandwich combo and I got an iced... More

We stopped here purely out of convenience on the way from Tamarindo to la fortuna by way of lake arenal. The banana nut muffin was SO good and we also had a margherita pizza. The crust was crunchy and paper thin and they serve it with chili oil, garlic oil and Parmesan cheese. Not New York pizza but very tasty.... More

This roadside restaurant is popular with tourists because they pay off the bus drivers who deliver tourists to and from the Arenal area. Despite this, they actually have some good food. We had the grilled trout sandwich, chicken sandwich and pork sandwich - all fresh and tasty. The coffee is very good as well. Do kot waste you money on... More

En route from Liberia airport to the Arenal area, our driver recommended that we stop at Cafe y Macadamia for lunch. We are so grateful he did. My husband and I enjoyed an incredible meal. I had the chicken curry and he had the chicken with mixed vegetables. We shared both and they were two of the best meals we've... More
