We stayed in Playa Flamingo for part of our honeymoon, and decided to make reservations at Capriccios. So glad that we did! This restaurant, located on the 2nd floor of Margaritaville Resort, was incredible - atmosphere, food and service. The Antipasto Italiano had the most deliciously crisp wood-fire crust, seafood linguine had a flavorful wine sauce, and the drinks were very good as well. Both the service and ambiance were very warm and welcoming. Our dessert even included a thoughtful message for our honeymoon! Highly recommend to anyone visiting the area. ❤️

During our time at the Margaritaville Resort, you could only eat at this restaurant by making a reservation at the Banana Wind restaurant. Our dinner here was pretty good but the portions were small. The margherita pizza was so good. The alcoholic beverages were the strongest we'd had our whole week at Margaritaville so we felt we got our money's worth; everywhere else skimped on the liquor. The staff was super nice and friendly and made sure everything was to our liking.

5 Stars - Carlos & Jaime run one amazing Bistro. Every dish was delicious from the chicken Alfredo to the caprese salad to the margarita pizza… We spent several nights dinning here trying every dish & never found one we didn’t like. Pura Vida ;)

This is the place that shines at Margaritaville. Watching the sunset from the restaurant was magical. Jaime and Fiona are an amazing couple who are friendly, attentive, and fun to be around. The cooks are friendly, food and service are excellent. We loved the smell of garlic wafting through the air as dishes were prepared. The margherita pizza with a glass of merlot was delicious. The chicken fettuccini alfredo is also very tasty. Don't forget to leave room for Fiona’s tiramisu - it is amazingly light and delectable.

My husband and I came here on our honeymoon and were treated like royalty. The food was amazing to include the Calzone Italiano con Nutella, one of the best desserts we’ve literally ever had. The service from Jamie and Golra was top notch the entire evening. Highly Highly Recommend this restaurant!!

I think the owners or the guys who run the restaurant changed, but we went with the expectation of trying some authentic Italian food and what we found was not at all what we thought of. The food was okay, but more like a cheap impression of Italian food. Extremely pricey for the quality we got. Wouldn’t go there again.

Great Neapolitan (Naples style) wood fired pizza!
We had zero expectations as hungry travelers and were very pleasantly surprised.
The spaghetti bolognese was really flavorful, tender beef and sausage. Even the garlic toast exceeded expectations, nice garlic and smoked prosciutto flavors. The service was very attentive and friendly. I asked for a beer, didn’t like it and they replaced it no questions. I love that they made it right. Deserts were great too, authentic Tiramisu (with mascarpone and Marsala soaked lady fingers). My family went gaga over the Nutella calzone served with gelato.

We dropped by this location 3 times over a 7 day vacation in Playa Grande. The pizza was a thin crust and very good. We tried 4 different kinds. The pizza's are not cheap. The wait time was reasonable. Menu is all Italian. Service could have been better, waitress was a bit grouchy and another waitress dropped food on one of our family members.

The food and staff were absolutely amazing!!!!
The waiter and bartender were so amazing and attentive. The food was absolutely delicious every night that we had gone. ( here for over a week). I can't say enough good things about this place! I highly recommend this place. Great place to bring you child(ren). They treated my daughter like a princess.

Mauricio our server made us feel very welcome. He took great care to ensure we enjoyed our meal and our experience in the restaurant. The pzzas and pasta dishes are delicious. We liked the antipasto. There was a nice variety of cocktails and desserts too.

The food was good. Many choices. The seafood pasta was a bit of a disappointment because the shrimp were the size of a penny as were the clams.
Pizza was very good. The waiter was so friendly and kind. Tops!

I loved this place, Jaime and Fiona are great human beings, I was very comfortable with my children and my host family really enjoyed the dishes and all the comfort that Jaime and Fiona's attention gave us, I definitely will be back

Absolutely loved their pizzas and really filling. You could choose your topping if you wanted for extra money but we were all inclusive at the margariaville we got all of it free.
